The decision to go back to Shibuya was made by both Chishiya and Ren. They had decided to head back once they both saw that there were only two more cards to complete – of course, they still had to deal with the King of Spades, worrying about getting shot at, but going back to the beginning was better than sitting and waiting for something to happen.

Ren walked next to Chishiya, keeping her eyes forward. Leaving Sara and Takeru behind at a time like this made her question if she was a bad person. However, Ren had to remember that everyone who was still alive back there, they were alive because of Sara. It was Ren's turn to return the favor she did for her, taking care of her brother and the other children who were stuck in this hellhole.

Ren's hand brushed against Chishiya's as they walked. She flinched in pain – the wrap around her hand was temporary, something just to keep the bones from shifting out of place. There was a makeshift splint across her palm out of a thin piece of wood that Chishiya found, but that didn't stop the pain she was feeling.

Chishiya glanced over at Ren as she gently moved her hand away from his. He moved around Ren, making her stop to find out what he was doing. Chishiya said nothing as he stood on her right instead of left. It was done silently as Chishiya grabbed her wrist. Ren kept her own mouth shut, allowing Chishiya to hold onto her as they walked towards Shibuya Center.

Ren couldn't keep her smile to herself as they walked.

It seemed extremely quiet as they arrived in Shibuya Center. And... the state of the place made it seem like they had been gone for months instead of weeks. Ren looked around, seeing the overgrown plants and grass – never in her life had she seen this much overgrowth. "Were we gone that long?" Ren asked. "I didn't think we had."

"The world takes over when humans don't." Chishiya commented.

"I just didn't think we were gone that long." Ren said.

Chishiya shrugged. "No bother to question it." Chishiya had a point, there was no point to question what was happening around them. They were surviving through death games, no one would believe them in the real world if they uttered a single word about it. Ren fell silent as they continued their way. "Look who it is." Ren looked forward, seeing Arisu with a shotgun on his shoulder.

"Looks like he survived after all." Ren hoped the rest of them did too. She wanted to see Kuina and An again. Ren felt Chishiya release her wrist, walking in front of her. Ren gently crossed her arms as Chishiya called out to Arisu.

Arisu stopped, seeing Chishiya and Ren for the first time since the start of the Face card games. Ren gave a wave with her broken hand, flinching in pain as it shot down her wrist. "Chishiya, Ren." Arisu said.

"There are only two games left. Players are starting to gather in Shibuya." Chishiya made sure that Ren kept her distance behind him. "I had a pretty good hunch that you were probably still alive." Chishiya commented as he stopped.

Arisu didn't know how to respond to that. "What? Is that the only thing you've gotta say?" Arisu asked.

"This is Chishiya we're talking about, Arisu. Did you expect anything more?" Ren asked as she stopped behind Chishiya.

"It's just... you're a lot less grumpy now." Ren had to look away from Arisu, trying not to bring too much attention to herself. Last night's activities certainly bounced around in Ren's head. There was a reason why Chishiya wasn't as grumpy as usual, and slightly happy to see Arisu.

"Oh, less grumpy, huh?" Chishiya thought for a moment. "Well, I've been through a hell of a lot." Ren watched as Chishiya walked forward, asking if he could tell Arisu something. However, before he could get the words out, a gunshot ran out. Ren ran forward, barely about to catch Chishiya as he fell.
