Kuina kicked her legs back and forth on Ren's bed, and just like everyone else Ren met, they went through her purse. At this point, Ren didn't care. There was nothing in there to steal. The only thing she cared about was the picture of her and her siblings. Kuina happened to be looking at it.

"Aw, they're adorable!" Kuina gushed.

Ren looked over her shoulder at Kuina. She stood by the window, seeing the party was indeed still going on, just as Chishiya said. Ren cracked a small smile before looking back over the partiers. "My siblings." Ren tried not to think about her brother being stuck here, going through the same games she was.

But at least he was with Sara, Ren knew he was in good hands until she could get to him. There was no way she was going to bring him to the Beach, not unless she wanted to keep him locked in her room the entire time. And she really didn't want to give a four-year-old the sex talk. Her brother was far safer with Sara and the rest of the children stuck in this fucking place.

"What are their names?"

"My sister's name is Kaida, and my brother's is Takeru."

"You must miss them." Ren did, but at the same time, she felt somewhat relieved that Kaida wasn't there. It was bad enough that Takeru was stuck in this hell, but having Kaida there... Ren wouldn't be able to live. Ren did miss them, but for the first time in four years, Ren just had to worry about herself. Even if she wsa worrying about dying every time she needed to do a game.

Ren turned away from the window, crossing her arms against her chest. Kuina had a sad expression on her face as she looked at the picture of Ren and her siblings. There was something on Kuina's mind, and while Ren thought about asking her, she didn't want to open up old wounds.

"What were you doing... before you came here?" Kuina asked.

"Standing on the corner, smoking a cigarette. It felt like someone punched me in the stomach, next thing I knew, I was alone in Shibuya." Ren stated as she approached the bed. She sat on the edge, looking at Kuina. "You?"

Kuina turned her head to look at Ren, "I was in Shibuya too. I was crossing the street."

"Did you see those three idiots in the middle? Nearly getting hit by a car?" Kuina nodded. Ren clicked her tongue off the roof of her mouth. "I wonder if we passed each other." Ren said.

Kuina put the pictures back into Ren's bag. She sat up on her knees. "How many days do you have left?" Kuina asked.

Ren chuckled awkwardly. "Uh... ten, I think." Ren stood up from the bed, rubbing the back of her neck. Ren honestly lost count, and without a cellphone to check to see, Ren didn't quite know. She knew she had a lot of time just because of her knee injury and Himari making her stay behind to rest it.

Ren lost count. And after yesterday's game, she knew she had three extra days added to her overall number.

"Hm." Kuina removed the fake cigarette from her pocket. "Wonder when Hatter's gonna make you do the trial."

Ren bit her bottom lip - Chishiya and Kuina told her that the Exectives made to make sure she was Beach material. Ren didn't have the heart to tell them that Aguni already made that decision during the last game they played together. Or the agreement she made with Takeru.

The only problem was Ren like the challenge and actively looked for the games. Ever since the first game she played, Ren went out almost every night to look for other games. Not to rank up the number of days she had, just to keep herself from thinking about anything else. Ren didn't want to think about the world she was previously in nor did he want to think about the world she was currently in. Ren wanted the distraction.
