You looked up at the rain falling from underneath your umbrella, you had been walking to school but it's still early so why not stop and enjoy the rain? You always did enjoy the rain it was peaceful and quiet, until you met him.

"Hey [Y/N]!!!" He shouted as he ran up to you, "glad I caught up to you" you stared at him for a bit till deciding to walk away. It's not like you hated him or anything he was just too out there, In this world you have a soulmate but until you touch them it's all black and fucking white "Hey soulmate wait up!" Shigeru was certain you were his soulmate but you dreaded that idea so you refused to let him touch you, Shigeru wasn't a bad person. To the eye atleast, he looked sweet and all but you could never find out what made you so annoyed with his presence.

You soon heard a loud crash from across the street, You looked to see a hero fighting a villain about robbing some store. In this world you also have hero's and villains, which is just as equally annoying,  It's not that you disliked them, it was just the concept. Putting your life on the line for people you don't know was stupid, being the selfish person you are you rather put yourself first than others. but that changed because of the words that Shigeru decided to let fall out his mouth.

"Hey during lunch can you meet be behind the school?" He questioned while approaching school grounds, "yeah sure" You knew what was going to happen. Behind the school was the backyard filled with cherry blossoms trees, you figured you'd reject him and move on with your life. Because you didn't see a future with him, you never knew why he was so interested in you but it ticked you off, you guys were complete opposites, strangers at best.

Shigeru felt it in his heart you guys would be a good match because opposite attract right? But in actuality he just wanted your money and he would do what it takes, You're parents are hero's well were hero's, they died a while back saving some people from some huge villain. You never felt upset about the death just disappointed, They left you with everything, the huge house you'd surely move out of, and all the money they had.

It's not like you spent it, it just sat there because didn't care for it much, you'd rather use it to get a new house later on. It didn't bother you anyway everyone tried the same tricks but this one was extremely well thought out.

"I like you, will you go out with me?" Shigeru did want your money, yet it changed when he actually found himself falling in love with your cold demeanor. You planned to say no but the flushed face he wore made you feel guilty, While lost in thought he grabbed your hand immediately seeing the gorgeous colors of his surroundings. "[Y/N]!!! Do you see all the bright colors??!! It's so beautiful"

You looked and saw he was holding you hand which confused you, if he could see color why couldn't you? Until it hit you, he could've been lying, but he felt all to amazed and started naming colors you never saw clearly. Then it actually hit you,

You were his soulmate

"Don't you see them?"

But he wasn't yours

"Yeah I do"
