You walked into your office to see it was decorated with balloons and gifts on your desk, it's been 3 days and you were still mad at Keigo. Not really mad more upset, He wanted to make it up to you but everytime he'd tried to talk to with you, you would shut him down or ignore him. So he figured he'd surprise you, you stared at the flowers that sat on the middle of the table in awe as you felt hands sneak around your waist, "Im sorry My love, I know I said it countless of times but I mean it. And you both mean everything to me and I don't want to lose either of you" he whispered his head resting on your shoulder.
You finally relaxed into his touch "Ok, I forgive you" you smiled as he began to pepper kiss over your face "Thank god, I can't stand to have you ignore me" he whispered causing you to laugh a bit until you remembered recently news you heard.
Earlier you walked into the lobby of your clinic and saw the news that played on the tv, THE NOMU THAT THE TOP TWO HEROS DEFEATED STILL STIRS QUESTIONS IN THE PUBLIC. Nomu? You never heard of one to be honest but it seemed like they were pretty common not something new.
"Kei, what's a nomu?" You questioned making him freeze, The one thing he tried to keep you from knowing since one appeared but he knew sooner or later you'd find out but he never wanted to mention it because he knew it'll only make your worries worse. "Where did you hear that from?" He questioned "On TV they said you and endeavor faced some in Kyushu" you turned to face him as he held your hands "Well umm, I don't really know how to explain it but they're like super strong non-human zombies" he chuckled nervously you smiled at him.
"Well didn't you defeat them? That means they can be stopped so we have nothing to worry about" you smiled making his heart warm, "yeah" he whispered lowly.
You stood in your shared bedroom doorway as you stared at the messy room, you groaned as you didn't feel like cleaning up but both you and keigo didn't have much time to actually clean up. You let out a heavy sigh as you walked to Kenjis room to see him sleeping in his play pin, you cleaned up his toys before doing the same downstairs leaving your room last, Keigo wouldn't be home for atleast another 3 hours so it gave you time to yourself.
Once you got to your room you debated on moving things around, but you weren't really in the mood, you first cleaned up your side and soon got to keigos. While you were hanging his jacket up you stumbled over a rectangular box and it hurt your foot a bit, "shit" you mumbled as you eyed the box, you kneeled down and opened it to see multiple copies of the same book. "The Meta Liberation War" you mumbled as you opened the book to see multiple lines "This is weird, why would Keigo have a book about free use of quirks?" You questioned to yourself.
You continued reading so captivated that you didn't hear the front door up, "[Y/N]? where are you?" You heard snapping you out of your thoughts. You heard footsteps approaching as you hurriedly put the book back in the box and the box back to its original spot, you hurried out the closet right before he entered the room. "Hey you're back early" you smiled as you went to hug him, "I can't stay but I thought I'd drop by I just missed you" he whispered before kissing down your neck.
"When do you not miss me while you're at work?" You chuckled as you felt him smile against your neck "I always miss you, every moment away from you is like hell" he whispered before kissing your lips. "I gotta get back, but I'll be home later" he kissed you quickly before taking his leave, little did you know he wasn't coming back, at all.

January 7th, 2136 12:02pm
Today was Kenjis 2nd birthday and you haven't heard from keigo in 4 days, not even 24 hours and he couldn't keep his promise. "Hey [Y/N]? You feeling ok?" Rumi questioned snapping you out of your thoughts "Yeah you're like totally spacing out" Kayama commented while they all agreed "Sorry just had alot on my mind recently, but let's not get into that it's Kenjis birthday" you smiled as the child sat in your lap at the table of the restaurant. "You're right, by the way where's Hawks? Shouldn't he be here?" Takeyama questioned making you go silent.
"I'm actually not sure" you responded feeding Kenji, you smiled down at the child as you tried to bite the chicken tender, "what do you mean you don't know? Hes your husband! The hell did he do? I'll kill him" Rumi and Kayama shouted. "He didn't do anything—.. actually I guess he did leave me alone for 4 days with no type of contact" you responded as Kenji took the chicken tender out your hand and began nibbling on it.
"And you're ok with that?" Ryuko questioned and you nodded with a smile as you felt your throat becoming dry, "Yeah, I means he's a hero he's busy" you finished feeling your heart become heavy. They were silent as you tried your hardest to keep your composure, To be honest you were a mess, you were worried sick. He didn't answer your text or return your calls and that worried you more, you weren't sure if he was ok, eating correctly because you knew he had of habit of eating complete junk, hell you didn't even know if he was alive.
You suddenly felt arms around you causing you to break down completely, "[Y/N], why didn't you tell any of us? We would've helped anyway we could" Ryuko commented as you cried in their arms. "I'm sorry but I didn't want to bother you, you guys are busy with what's going on" they pulled away as you soon felt small hands wiping your face, "no cry mama" Kenji spoke and you couldn't help but cry more but from joy, "Remember you still have us, and Kenji especially" Rumi commented as you calmed down.
"Right I'm sorry" you smiled as you wiped your tears with the help on Kenji, years ago you were the selfish person you knew and everyone around you knew that. When you saw people in need of help you walked past not batting an eye, but now you were the most selfless person they knew, you were here sitting on your son's birthday holding back tears because you didn't want to worry anyone. But those same people you didn't want to worry were the ones you always worried for no matter what, you were like a natural born mother and now you actually are one you wouldn't want someone treating your child the way you treated those people in need.
"You're really changing [Y/N], you're growing up I'm so proud of you" Rumi whispered, "you're always there for us, so let us be there for you" Takeyama commented.
"Hey mom, I know it's getting a little late but i wanted Kenji to see you" you smiled at the stone as the sky grew darker the more you two talked to the stone, "I think I have a different perspective on the world now, and you can thank this little guy" you spoke as Kenji smiled. "But it's getting late, so we should head home, Wish Kenji a happy birthday" you smiled before walking to the car.
You put Kenji to sleep feeling a bit lonely, you were a married mother yes, but you felt like a single mother, "4 days" you whispered feeling his presence near the door. "Not even 24 hours and you couldn't keep your promise" you turned to see him completely soaking wet, most likely from the pouring rain outside,
