You stood in the kitchen washing the left over dishes from dinner, Keigo sat on the kitchen island watching you from behind, the past few months have been great. You both would come home to be greeted with a hug and food on the table, if both of you were working late the first one home would just order something. He was glad the one he came home to was you, the times he felt completely lonely in his "luxury apartment" still lingered in the back of his mind, but if those times led up to meeting you then it was worth it.
You as well were happy with how things were going, you never felt more loved in your life, You thought about taking him with you to visit your mother but you could never find the right time. Though you've been dating for 5 months now you still felt a bit shy towards him, leaving you to be a bit distant and less affectionate and you felt like if you didn't get comfortable soon he'd leave. But little did you know, Keigo was wrapped around your finger, he couldn't leave unless you forced him to, He knew you weren't very open when it came to feelings and he's accepted that.
Though he now knew you, completely including your past, making him afraid to say those 3 words to you. He showed it of course but actions speak louder than words, he didn't just want to show you, he wanted to tell you, Especially after the that incident causing you both to go public, after he felt you'd leave from all the attention you've gain. He felt guilt and to blame for putting you in that situation and he wanted to tell those 3 words to maybe put your mind to ease. But he knew you wouldn't think he'd meant it, and he was right, Since you found out the soulmate thing was no more you were skeptical. They announced it late since they ended around 2 years after you were born, the first generation to see color, It made you overthink everything.
If it was no more are those that were destined to be no longer? You felt the same as keigo, wanting to tell him those words but you they never seemed to come out. It was like you said it so freely without meaning but once it does you couldn't spit it out, You always say actions speak louder than words but you barely showed him you cared or loved him at least. But you did, very dearly, but you couldn't show or tell him and it made you feel pity for him.
"Let's watch a movie" Keigo suddenly spoke while you dried your hands, You felt a smile creeping on you face at his you turned so see his sleepy face, "Aren't you tired?" You questioned walking around the island to play with his hair. "No, I wanna spend some time with you, and I have a question" He sat up pulling you between his parted legs, "How many kids do you want?" He stared into your eyes while he asked that question. You were a bit confused yet you felt your face burn. "Aren't we still too young for kids? You just turned 20 last week" you comment playing with some of his close hair strands.
"Yeah but just for the future, like how bout 22? Or 23?" He smiled while you calculated, "Kei that's still 2-3 years from now, do you think we're ready? Or like fit to be parents?" You questioned placing your head a top of his while he rested his against your chest. "I think we'd be great parents, and don't worry about quitting, we'll get a nanny" he reassured, causing you to smile, he just knew how to take all your worries away, "Ok, but let's do 21, now I really want one, or 2, we should have 2" he smiled as you rambled on about all the things babies need.
"Do we need to get a bigger home? I'll baby proof everything"
"I think we'll be fine"

You parked your car in the garage before making your way to the lobby, you worked late again considering you've been getting more patients than usual causing some to stay a little pass closing. "My feet are killing me" you whined walking into the elevator, you pressed your floor which was the very last button, once you stood outside your door searching you for your key you realized your door was slightly opened.
You gently pushed the door causing it to swing open, you stepped into the apartment to be met with darkness. You closed the door fully taking your shoes off, you took one step feeling something softy under you but you couldn't see, you felt a bit anxious as you continued walking into the dark apartment until you the dark room you were standing in was illuminated by light. You fluttering your eyes a bit until you could see your surroundings, you were standing in front of the dining table while candles were lit around the area, you looked down to see rose petals leading from the front door to the table that was surrounded in them.
"Kei? Are you home-" suddenly your bag was off you shoulder along with your jacket, "Welcome home" you felt him sneak up behind you, placing his hands on your hips and kissing your cheek. "What's all this for? y'know you almost gave me a heart attack" You placed your hands on his as he rested his head on your shoulder, "Sorry about that, I just wanted to make tonight a little special" he guided you towards the chair while he went back to the kitchen.
You sat there admiring the dining room table till he came back placing two plates of food on the table, "Kei, honestly what is all this? You're scary me" you felt a bit nervous you thought you did something wrong or maybe he's like proposing or something but that didn't cross your mind. "Eat then I'll tell you" You stared at him a bit before finally deciding to eat, Once you finished he held your hands in his trying to find the right words.
"Keigo? Is there something wrong? You can talk to me y'know" your thumbs caressed his hands while he removed them from yours, He stood up while you did the same wrapping your arms around him "Talk to me Kei" you whispered while he held your cheeks. You stared into his eyes searching for some kind of answer but you didn't get any, "I have to tell you something" he paused while you nodded tell him to continue, "[Y/N].... I love you, so much" he smiled down at you while his thumb caressed your cheek.
"I know how you feel about feelings, so you don't have to say it back immediately—" "I love you more" You interrupted before pulling him into a sweet kiss, "Tomorrow, Come visit my parents with me"

You sat in front of the stone with the new flowers you had bought, "Hi mom, I know it's been a while, been a bit busy... but umm I'd like you to meet someone" you grabbed Keigos hand pulling him to sit besides you. "This is Keigo, or Hawks he's a hero, and my boyfriend" you smiled before glancing at your father's stone, "Hey, Nice to meet you" He waved as you began talking to her about your past couple of months with Keigo butting in.
"Hey how's dad? I hope he's doing well" you smiled before glancing back over to his stone, "well we have to get going, it was nice talking to you" you stood up dusting off your knees. "Y'know I really love your daughter, very dearly" he whispered but made sure you could hear it, "And her daughter I really loves you too".
