Rummaging through your bag, you walked to your vet, grabbing your key you looked up towards the building to see a huge line of people waiting, which confused you. You didn't open till 8 and they're were a bunch of people outside with their pets, you opened the door when someone came up to you, "Hey umm are you really that vet that can speak to animals?" He questioned as you gave him a confused look. Your phone suddenly rang while you walked inside, you answered the phone without looking at the caller ID "hello?" You answered walking into your office, "Ok so I recommended you to a friend of mine with a sick dog, and then he posted about it, and said I recommended it"
You listened at him rambling on as you stared at the clock, "don't be mad!" You smiled to yourself at his scared voice, "I'm not mad, it just means I have a long day ahead of me, now I opens in 3 minutes, I'll text you when I'm free later" you spoke through the phone while he bid his goodbye. You stood up walking out of your office as you watched people pour into the lobby, you grabbed the clipboard with list of people who had appointments walking over to the waiting room, "all right if you have an appointment please come over on this side of the room, Michi will take care of you, the rest will be with me" you handed michi the clipboard before siting at the reception desk.
After a few hours your clinic was still full, but the more people poured into to work the faster the patients left, "Next is Ms.Kayama" you spoke looking at you clipboard. "Fancy seeing you here" you spoke leading her to an open exam room, "it's time for sunshine's monthly check up, and you know I only trust you" she spoke placing said puppy on the examination bed. Kayama Nemuri, or better know was midnight was a regular at your clinic, your clinic was a regular clinic hero's with pets went to just because most of them see how caring you and your employees are.
Not to mention everyone quirks work well with healing or talking to animals, as for you didn't have that ability to talk to them but you where Like an animal whisperer. You could find out anything wrong with an animal just by looking at it or having a one sided conversation with it, everyone who came here loved your work since you all treated animals like people when it came to examinations.
"So how's life been treating you?" You questioned placing the stethoscope on the dogs back, "same old same old, My students aren't as annoying, anything new with you?" You removed the stethoscope from your ears as you examined the puppies paws. "Well I called off my Engagement, and I guess that's all" thought you've known Kayama for about a year now you were still skeptical in telling anything about your relationship with keigo, "You can finally let loose now, how bout you come drinking with me and my buddies later tonight? Usagiyama will be there, she misses you, we all do"
I filled out sunshine's records, while she continued talking about this club for hero's that recently opened up, "I'm not a hero though, how will I get in?" "I'll pick you up!" You thought about it briefly before giving in "ok what time" you gave her a small smile as she gave you details before leaving. An hour or 2 pass by, Now you were finally on break, you relaxed your shoulders as you left the exam room to find about only 3 people left, the sky was becoming dark and keigo was blowing up your phone.
Sitting in your office chair you relaxed into it, you soon heard a knock on your door and it opened to reveal keigo with a bag, "I brought you a little something" he placed the bag on your desk and walked over to you. "I missed you" he gently kissed your lips his hand on the back of your neck deepen the kiss, "I'm at work keigo" you pulled away from the kiss as you went to go wash your hands. Turning around you saw Keigo twirling around in your seat, his wings almost knocking some things over.
"Stop that, before you knock something over" he stopped facing you, he patted his lap while he smiled, "come here" rolling your eyes fighting back a smile, you went to sit on his lap. "What did you get?" "(f/f)" he spoke his words a bit muffled considering he had his face nuzzled between your neck. For the time being you both talked about each other's day and what not, "stop taking my food, you should've gotten your own" you spoke smacking his hand away.
"I wasn't hungry, just share with your amazing boyfriend who bought it for you" he reached for it once again but you stopped his hand, "pleaseee" he dragged out while you shook your head, you shifted on his lap a bit trying to get comfortable. You felt his hands on your hips while he stopped your movements, "what do you want to do tonight?" He questioned kissing your neck. "Oh right I'm going out with some friends tonight, around 10" you spoke placing the empty container in the bag, "oh where?" You were a bit hesitant in telling him since you didn't know how he'd react.
"It's this new "hero's only" club that recently opened up, my friends are hero's so I'll be able to get in" resting his head on your chest he hummed in response. "Alright have fun" he smiled at you but yet you were a bit confused, "you're not mad?" "Why would I be? I just want to know where you'll be incase of anything, you deserve to relax and chill for a bit" you laughed at his response feeling your cheeks hurt from how much you were smiling, "awe look at the pretty girl with that pretty smile on her face" he teased as you placed your hands over your face.
He laughed at your state, he enjoyed seeing you becoming more comfortable with him, and he especially loved that smile that was now stuck on your face. He knew you didn't get out much because of that ex of yours and he felt like you deserved to spend time with the friends you had before it's too late, if that's what made you happy, he wouldn't deny that from you.
