It's been two hours since hawks came back from the store with stuff to try and make you feel better, "So why did he leave?" Sipping the tea from your mug, your body feeling more alive. Hawks sat at the edge of your bed, through the time he spent with you he tried to get to know you more, leading to questions about your engagement. "Not really sure, but doesn't really concern me" placing your mug on the nightstand, you started at the silver ring that was on your finger "but I thought he was your soulmate? Aren't you supposed to care for eachother?"
You forgot he thought you found your soulmate, you wondered if you should tell him or not, but then he'd ask more questions. "Oh shit. Hold on" he suddenly stood up running out the room leaving you confused, Keigo didn't know why he was here, nor why he cared about making you feel better. Hearing how your soon to be husband left you alone when you're obviously not feeling well made him upset, but he didn't know why.,
Pouring the soup in a bowl, he found himself smiling at the conversation you two shared, he still didn't know much about you except the basics. He wanted to get close to you, he never had an interest in getting close to anyone, he himself preferring to be alone, that's how he grew up so that's all he knows.
Walking back up to your room holding the soup on the tray careful not to spill a drop, making his way towards your sitting figure he placed the tray on your lap. "I made you some soup, it should make you feel better" One thing he noticed about you is he never seen you smile, you'd think someone getting engaged would be full of laughter and joy, but learning that it didn't seem so happy he wanted to fill that spot. For both of you.
It seemed weird to him, but everytime he saw you, he dreaded not seeing color, he sometimes found him staring at your features they went well perfectly. He couldn't lie, he found you attractive but he knew he could never act on his feelings considering your a soon to be married woman, the more he stayed around you that day the more he found himself enjoying your company.
When he had to leave because your fiancé was home he found himself wanting to stay in your comfort, when he got home he realized how lonely he really was, he didn't really have friends, he didn't go to school. He had his sidekicks, but they had their own lives, he wanted to text you immediately but didn't want to annoy you, he saw the looks you gave him and they always seemed annoyed, so he left it alone and decided to divert his attention to his furry friend.
"I made soup to make me feel better" He was yelling about every little thing that seemed out of place before he left, obviously someone was here, but you weren't gonna tell him that he'd probably get violent. He has before, in the first year of you dating he got mad you were talking to someone other than him, so he threw a shoe at you, he missed and got more upset and hit you.
After that you felt trapped, if you left he'd probably try to kill you, remembering that you now remember why you stayed. You were scared, of course you had a quirk but it wasn't useful against him, you were glad you could just heal whatever he inflicted on you, after the first time he never hit you again, yet he was still verbally attacking you.

After you were finished being sick 3 weeks flew by, meaning you were about a month less to getting married, you haven't seen Hawks since that day, you guys did talk, but you felt yourself wanting to see him. You never thought youd find yourself longing to see someone, and that someone being a stranger and not your fiancé, You never really had anyone care for you like he did. Though it was small, the bare minimum, it felt heart warming. Through out your 2 year relationship Shigeru didn't really show you affection, it's not that he couldn't, he just wouldn't.
No compliments, only back handed ones, He never touched you unless he needed something. This only started recently, the nights he'd cling to you would be no more, it wasn't really upsetting, you were more happy at the fact but now you saw he dropped the act completely.
Opening the door to your office you were met with a smiling hawks, "Did you miss me?" He sure did miss you, he's been waiting for a day off to finally see you again but when he did he decided to take your advice and spend time with his cat. "why are you here?" Walking to your chair he frowned at you, He didn't understand why you were so rude but nonetheless he didn't let it get to him.
"Why are you so mean?" "I just like to get to the point" You were actually a bit trilled to see him, but you didn't want him to know that. "I missed you, that's why I'm here" He gave you a bright smile and soon placed a bag on your desk "and I wanted you bring you a little gift" Your stomach turned at what he said, you never received a gift so you were a bit taken back. Opening the bag you opened it revealing one of his merchandise and chocolate he picked one of his miniature plushy and held it to his face, "so incase you ever need me when I'm not available, I'll be right there"
You felt your face suddenly warm up, placing your hand on your forehead hoping you weren't sick again. "Is there something wrong?" He reached to touch you but you quickly moved away, "sorry I forgot you don't like being touched, are you ok though?" Removing your hand from your face you grabbed the plush figure out his hand. "My face got warm, I was checking to see if I was sick again" Keigo wanted to tease you about blushing over his small gesture but he just found himself staring and smiling at you.
You hadn't noticed what he was doing, instead you were analyzing the plush doll, it resembles him a bit, and it was cute. You knew if Shigeru saw it he would immediately question you and you didn't feel like going through that. "It's cute, what kind of chocolate did you get?" Peering into the bag you spotted most of your favorites "surprise!!!" "So you actually listen" for the first time in a while you found yourself wanting to smile.
