I should be happy right now. I should be in bliss. I made out with Kendall. I made out with my brothers best friend. This is so crazy.
Kendall left my bedroom shortly after we stopped kissing. He didn't seem phased at all by the kiss. Me on the other hand had no idea what I was going to do. Were we going to act like nothing happened? Were we going to be open about it?
"CASSIE?!" I heard Dustin call. I sighed and got out of bed. Dustin was on the stairs. "Come on, everyone wants cake." Dustin said. I followed Dustin back down the stairs where everyone was standing. After a awkward happy birthday song and I blew out the candles, I watched as Dustin and Katelyn handed out the cake.
Kendall was no where to be found.
"Hey DBelt, where is Kendall?" I asked.
"He left. The date he had for Friday called and asked if he could do it tonight." Dustin said.
"So, he went on the date?" I asked. "Do you know where?"
"No, but Katelyn does so ask her." Dustin said. I nodded and pulled her into the next room away from all the cake loving people.
"What's up?" Katelyn asked.
"Can I trust you?" I asked. "I need to know if I can trust you."
"Yeah, of course you can." Katelyn said.
"I need to trust you won't say a word to Dustin." I said.
"I don't like lying or keeping things from him." Katelyn said.
"Please." I begged. Katelyn sighed.
"Alright." Katelyn said. "What do you need?"
"Take me to Kendall."
