[present day]
Safe to say, Abigail and her friends did not sleep that night. Everyone was on edge, the boys arguing about what to do, while Abby just held a shaken up Sarah, who looked like she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
Pope and Kiara never came back with the boat, and the My Druther's II did not have enough gas to even make it to a gas station, let alone get them off the island. Abby and JJ tried calling both of their friends several times, but the calls were going straight to voicemail, so there was no way to tell them what happened.
After waiting up all night, afraid that Rafe and Barry would come back, while they tried to come up with a plan, or destination, the sun had finally come up, and the four teens at the Chateau decided they couldn't wait around anymore.
They grabbed their things, and headed down the dock, fully prepared to take the My Druther's II, praying they misjudged how much gas they had, when they saw the HMS Pogue headed right for them.
"Thank god." Abby sighs, gesturing towards the end of the dock.
"Finally, hey!" JJ calls out, as he takes off running, to stop them from tying up the small boat. "Guys, don't tie up! Stop!"
Kiara and Pope look up, brows furrows at their friends. "What?"
"We're dipping." JJ tells them.
"Wait, why?" Pope asks, as they glance back at John B, helping Sarah down the dock.
"What? What are you talking about?" Kiara asks.
"Where'd you guys go? What happened last night?" John B asks, ignoring their question.
"We slept on the break. What's up?" Pope answers quickly.
Abigail watches Kiara's face twist in awkwardness, especially when JJ decides to joke about it. "Slept, right. Yeah." He pats Pope's shoulder when he passes him. "We were up all night."
