POST TEST

"Ugh, I'm so glad that test is over! I'm going to the mess hall," Akko stated. 

"Yeah, I think we don't have more upcoming tests soon," Lotte exclaimed in relief. 

"Just wait until potions class, Akko! I'll get more creative this week," Sucy chuckled. "Better hope it's not a love spell," she added. Lotte held in her chuckle. Akko was so drained from the test that she didn't notice Sucy's offhand comment. 

"Yeah, that's fine. See you two later," Akko turned the corner. 

Diana approached her. "Hey, Akko can I ask you something real quick?", she asked as she gently grabbed Akko's shoulder.

"Oh ****! What does she want? Please just ask me to the dance! I've been too nervous to ask for weeks. Are you going to ask?", Akko began to formulate every single scenario into her mind wondering what words Diana was going to say next.

"So, the dance is coming up and-",

Akko anticipated this moment for weeks now. She thought during every study session with Diana, Diana might finally ask, but that never happened. Akko thought it was odd that Diana would ask in passing during school, but all logic was thrown out the window. All the stars and planets have aligned for this single moment! Akko immediately blurted out, "YES!". However, it wasn't what she thought it was. 

"Oh, did you hear the school is asking some students to help with the preparations this weekend?", Diana asked.

This weekend? That was when Akko was going to cop that Shiny Chariot game! "Fuck.", Akko thought to herself. "Yeah, sure! I'd love to help", she lied. Akko didn't want to be rude and take back what she said. 

"Great see you there," Diana smiled as she walked away. 

"I hope that Shiny Chariot game is still there tomorrow...", Akko thought to herself.
