Don't You Notice How...

Akko walked back from Constanze's room. Her eyes were filled with anticipation and excitement. Andrew was getting a quick water break. 

"So, how did it go?", Andrew asked curiously. 

"It's great! I can't believe we found something like that in a random storage closet," she exclaimed. Her true excitement her plans to use it with Diana. Regardless of the fortune, Akko planned to ask her out. 

"I kind of want to use it with someone...", Akko was cut off by Andrew. 

"Shhh... Diana's here," he said in a hushed whisper between his teeth. 

"Uhhh... how do- why do you...", Akko couldn't formulate the right question before Diana came. 

Andrew kept quiet as Akko rambled on. Both of them went quiet. 

"Hey, Akko," Diana greeted her smiling with tender affections. "Andrew," she directed eye contact to her. It was a warning for Andrew to keep the secret. In response, Andrew gave a nonchalant smirk. 

"It looks like you two have made some great progress today," she observed. 

"Yeah... we did," Akko and Andrew said in unison. They subconsciously ran through the day's events such as jumping on Andrew and picking a lock to the storage closet.

"Are you coming to help us at more?", Akko asked excitedly. She was hoping for more time with Diana. 

"Ummm... I have to run back to my room, but I should be back soon," Diana seemed nervous and avoidant. In her hand, was a bag. 

Andrew looked down at Diana's bag. He figured it was that Diana bought the Shiny Chariot console game. As expensive as it was, Diana knew it was worth every pound (I think it's pound. The story is in England). He nodded subtly to Diana, yet she continued to look away and leave. However, Akko's jaw dropped as soon as Diana turned around. 

"Uhhh... you good, Akko?", Andrew asked. 

"Uhhh...", sighed Akko. She totally wanted to speak to Diana more today, but couldn't. "Also, how did you know anything?".

"Uhhh... good guessing skills?", Andrew didn't want to give away that he already knew Diana unknowingly reciprocated Akko's feelings. 

"I guess your right", she counted all of the people that knew. All of them knew without Akko even saying anything. 

"You didn't seem to secretive today. I saw how disappointed you were when she wasn't here. You were like a lost puppy," he chuckled. 

Akko couldn't refute Andrew's accusations. The two continued to work for around an hour until Professor Ursula came to them. 

"Oh, hey Professor!", Akko greeted. 

"I think you two have done enough today. You two should go relax for today," she said. 

"That's totally fine by us! I think we were getting pretty tired already," Andrew said. Akko nodded in agreement.

"Well, thank you two so much for coming today! I hope you have a great rest of your day. Please feel free to come help next time!", replied Professor Ursula. 

Akko and Andrew headed waved goodbye as they walked at. Akko looked at the time. It was 3:36. 

"We gotta go!" Akko began running. 

"For?", Andrew asked.

"Hurry, let's go to the school gates. I need to go somewhere," she shouted as she kept running. 

When they arrived at the gate, Andrew was out of breath. Akko got permission leave the premises and Andrew checked out. She was barely exhaling, while Andrew gasped heavily for air.
