Chapter 11: Lunch Break at El Chips! Activate Showtime Protocol!

| Main Atrium, Kid's Cove

After the trio had finally escaped Rockstar Row from the horde of corrupted STAFF Bots, they thankfully found themselves back at the Atrium where they decided to take shelter near Kid's Cove where they'll most likely be safe for now and lower the risk of getting caught, and also Freddy mentioned that the area is a good place to hide since nobody usually goes there during the night.

The animatronic bear lifted the shutter with all of his strength as Vanessa, still carrying Gregory on her back, hurried inside along with Freddy, as the animatronic stepped inside and then let go of the shutter, letting it fall back to the floor, keeping anything from getting inside.

The blonde woman gently placed the boy down as Gregory then took off his backpack and fell to the floor feeling a little exhausted, meanwhile the security guard grabbed and sat down in a random cushion seat around the area as she let out a breath of exhaustion as all she wanted to do was just rest her tired legs.

Freddy then walked up to them before speaking up with a concerned voice tone.

"Gregory? Vanessa? Are you two alright?" He asked with a voice full of worry, as Vanessa was taking heavy breaths, as she was exhausted from all the running, Gregory then looked towards Freddy and briefly lifted his head up and nodded as the boy then gave the robotic bear a thumbs up before laying his head back down along with his arm.

Meanwhile after taking a few more deep breaths, Vanessa responded back to Freddy.

"Yeah... we're okay... Fredster." Vanessa replied partially exhausted as she continued to catch her breath. "But I doubt that's the last we'll see of them... and I have a funny feeling... that it would probably be a bad idea to try and go back to the main entrance at this point."

Gregory took a moment before he joined in on the conversation.

"Man, I really wish I still had some snacks left... because I'm so hungry right now and my water bottle is nearly empty." He said as he was laying on the floor trying to rest himself up while it lasted until he and his friends needed to run again.

Vanessa continued breathing as she finally got control of her breathing

"Freddy may I ask, how are you still walking if Gregory said that you were damaged earlier?" Vanessa asked as the boy lifted himself up as he then positioned himself to sit cross legged on the floor.

"Yeah, like how? You were glitching and twitching your head like you were going to power down at any minute, but now, you suddenly seem better now, like what happened? I didn't think you'd be able to stand up, especially after all of this?" Gregory asked as he was curious about how Freddy rescued them and how he was still functional.

"I don't know the answer myself, but from what I can tell you is that my systems started acting up when this Master Man person you mentioned was around and as soon as he disappeared, my systems were affected, making it seem like I was in a state where I needed to be checked for maintenance, but for some odd reason, I don't feel like that anymore." Freddy explained as Gregory all of a sudden remembered earlier to when Vanny shut down Freddy's system, and also remembered when he knocked her out and ran back to Freddy's powered off body, until out of nowhere, the animatronic felt better after the malfunction, almost as if it was nothing.

It all seemed rather strange to the boy that Vanny and the Master Man had this strange technology, and it also seemed like a coincidence that these two rabbits seemed to have a powerful effect on Freddy's system.

"Wait a minute!" Gregory exclaimed as Vanessa and Freddy turned their attention to him.

"Do you remember when Vanny powered you off earlier? For some reason your power system was acting up, but then went back to normal like nothing happened, correct?" Gregory explained as Freddy nodded and continued listening to the boy's explanation as Gregory then pulled out the flash drive from earlier out of his backpack and showed it to the animatronic.
