Chapter 5: Keep The Lights On! Sunnydrop & Moondrop!

| Superstar Daycare Center, Main Entrance

Gregory kept walking through the dim hallway as he made it to the entrance of the Daycare Center, but the entrance was closed off by its shutters for the night. The boy then took out the Daycare pass from his pocket and then scanned it at the scanner which made the shutters open up for him to enter as the bright light blinded for a moment.

Once he had recovered his vision, he then walked inside and was greeted with a large golden statue of a jester looking Sun animatronic as well as a Moon looking statue standing behind it. The tall golden statue also had the names of the two animatronics written on it, which read " Daycare Attendant, Sunnydrop and Moondrop".

"Looks like these two must be the Daycare Attendant, the one Freddy had mentioned." Gregory recalled as he looked around the area, before he then walked closer to the edge of the floor he was in as he then looked through the large netted area below him as his eyes widened at the sight.

"Whoa! How many kids do they have to watch to have a daycare THIS big!" Gregory thought as he was shocked at how big the area was, he then looked around to see if he could find a way inside but unfortunately the turnstiles were closed so it resulted in him trying to find another way to get inside the play area. He turned to his right and saw a colorful slide that seemed to be where kids would go in order to get downstairs.

Gregory approached the slide but before he decided to slide down into the play area, something else had caught his attention. He turned his head slightly and spotted a newspaper hanging off the side of the employees desk counter.

"What's that?" The brunette boy thought as he rushed over to the desk and picked up the papers, he gently turned it around to see the front headline, which read. "Hurricane, Utah Daily News! Cases of missing children continue to rise!"

"Missing children? Since when?" Gregory asked as he read through the paragraphs and saw on the front page that showed pictures of the nine missing kids showing what they looked like. Gregory took a moment to look at each kid's face to see if he recognized any of them but sadly didn't recognize any of them as he looked at each picture, but then all of a sudden he thought that this newspaper could probably help him, Freddy and Vanessa out in their investigation.

"I have to bring this back to Vanessa. Maybe this could be a clue on what's happening in the Pizzaplex." The boy thought as he took off his backpack and folded the newspaper to slip it inside before zipping it back up. After making sure the paper was okay, he then walked over to the slide and sat himself down as he pushed himself gently before he began sliding through the slide.

As he zoomed through the rainbow colored slide, he suddenly landed in the ball pit. The boy popped out his head from the pit while laughing in joy.

"Wow! That was awesome! Hopefully I get to do that again if I ever come back here." Gregory said to himself as he stood up from the ball pit, until suddenly he noticed something or more like someone on top of the play place.

It was the same jester looking sun animatronic from the statue he saw at the entrance. Sunnydrop was in his room until he heard something that made him come outside as he walked towards the platform overlooking the daycare as he happily spun around before stopping at the edge of the platform as he scanned the Daycare until he detected Gregory's presence.

"Hooo! Hooo! Hooo!" He exclaimed cheerfully as he extended his arms in the air before diving down into the ball pit like a swimming pool. This got Gregory frightened as he quickly took his chance to see if he could get away from Sun on time, but was too late as the animatronic suddenly popped out and picked him up from the ball pit before speaking up in a voice that was full of energy and also somewhat friendly.
