"Are you okay?" A male held out a hand, keeping an eye on the other male a few feet away.

Airi slowly lifted her head. With eyes growing wide, she instantly recognized his face.

The guy from the woods.

She grabbed her now-broken phone off the ground, taking his hand to stand. She was pulled slightly behind him as the other approached slowly.

"Well, if it isn't-"

"Get lost." He snapped, not wanting to hear what the stranger had to say. With a hand up to his chest, he feigned offense.

"Seungmin, that's no way to talk to an old friend."

Seungmin rolled his eyes as the girl peaked above his shoulder.

"Since when?" His brows raised, motioning to Airi. "So, is that your little friend or....?"

"No, she is just a random girl I am protecting from your bullshit. Again." He huffed with a cross of his arms.

"Airi!" Miyu sprinted up, inspecting the younger. Seungmin turned to the older. "Get home. Now." He nudged Airi away, facing the other once again.

Miyu was too busy recalling his face as Airi yanked her along. The two ran home, locking themselves inside out of breath.

"What. The. Fuck." Miyu expressed. Airi pulled out her phone, guilt covering her face. "I'm sorry."

She shook her head, once again inspecting Airi for injury. "It doesn't matter, we will get you a new one. Are you sure you are alright?"

"Yeah. I just fell, that's all. But then.. he showed up again."

"Yeah I know. You think he is stalking us?" Miyu questioned seriously. With a moment of silence, Airi shook her head. "No.. the guy who was chasing me and the forest guy seemed to know one another. I learned Seungmin is his name."

"The one who saved us?"

Airi nodded. With the release of a huff, she ran her hand through her hair. "Well, from now on I will walk to come get you when you get off of work. I can't risk that again and we can't rely on this Seungmin guy to save us every time."

"I will be fine, I'll just take a different route next time or ask a co-worker to drive me home."

"You can call Kimiko too, don't forget that." Miyu reminded.

"Yeah but she isn't super close. I don't want to make her go out of her way."

Three days later

Miyu arrived home from work, quietly greeting the younger as she did homework at the coffee table in the living room.

After changing to comfortable clothes and plopping onto the couch, a knock raised both of the girls heads.

"Is Yukari and Akari showing up without warning again?"

Airi shook her head. "It's a school night."

Miyu peaked the door open as far as the chain would let it. She frowned at the strange man, asking what he needed.

"Please miss, can I use your phone? I can't find mine anywhere."

Miyu shook her head, a stranger energy holding over her head. "I'm sorry, perhaps the other neighbors will let you or you could go to a pay phone."

In attempt to close the door, his foot struck to keep it open. Miyu instantly knew something wasn't right.

"Please let me in, it's freezing out here." He insisted.

Airi peaked from behind, eyes widening as his met hers.

"Hey sis, is there a problem?" A shaggy black haired male approached the porch. Confused, the two sisters shared a look.

"Get lost buddy, I have a word to share with my girlfriend and her sister." He snapped, his anger becoming obvious.

"I don't even know you!" Miyu screamed through the chain, letting the stranger know there was definitely a problem.

He stepped onto the porch, raising his shoulders. "You should leave. This is a pretty shabby area for you, don't ya think?"

Glaring at the younger, Miyu and Airi observed both males behavior. "You and your little brothers better watch your backs. I'm not alone anymore."

Angerly stomping off, the sisters were able to breath again. Unlocking the chain, Miyu lightly bowed to the black haired boy who resembled a fox. "Thank you."

He scratched his neck and bowed back. "You guys should really stay away from him, he is bad news. Anyway, gotta go!"

The door latched as the two were left in utter shock.

"They knew each other too, right?"

"For sure."
