Pulling Byeol to one of the guest bedrooms, she looked at the younger sister with such confusion. "What is going o-"

"Tell me the truth. I wanna know how long you've been in our lives, Byeol. Our dreams show us a woman with the star neckla-"

"Okay, okay, I get it. Let's sit down." She huffed. Holding her hands, she gave the younger her honest word.

"I am about to say a lot, so bare with me. I have been there to save you two as kids a couple times. Your mother and I met through a mutual friend. It was a few years since I had talked to her when I received her warning signal. Arriving to where it was sent out, there you two were. Unfortunetly, I passed by her body before finding you. After getting you two to safety, I reported her body to the police since she lived among humans. It didn't take long for me to realize the home I chose for you two wasn't such a good place after all. I am sorry Airi."

She only smiled. "Thank you, unnie. This feels better now that I feel less crazy. Can we tell Miyu soon? I don't like knowing things that she doesn't."

She agreed. "Of course, just let me prepare. There was one more thing I learned later on though. The warning signal your mother sent out was sent to two others."

"Do you know who they are?"

Byeol shook her head. "I wish I did. I am sorry."

The woman gasped, staring the man sternly in the eye. "Y-you b-bastard!"

Instantly regretting her yelling, she began to taste blood. "Y-you w-won't g-gain s-shit f-from this, y-you k-know t-that?!?!"

He shrugged before pulling out the knife to inspect it. "I mean, I guess we will have to see. Two more to go out of four, right?"

A sadistic chuckle left the mans lips as he went in for another plunge of the knife.

Miyu jumped up to a sitting position, feeling a hand on her back. Turning her head to the side, a worried Seungmin softly smiled. "You okay?"

"It just keeps getting worse..."

Pulling her closer, she avoided his eyes as he sighed. "Look at me."

With a tomato red face, she did as asked.

"What was it this time?"

"My mothers death.. he... he stole her eyes.. my fathers too.. " Tears began to rush down. Pulling her to sit on his lap, he rested his back against the headboard. "Where is byeol?"

"She is in the living room. She sent me in here so don't worry about it."

Biting her lip to fight back more tears, she tried her best to hide her face. No matter the effort she put, she eventually lost the fight.

"You are going to make yourself bleed again.." He whispered. The soft tone sent shivers down her spine. Without getting a response, she found his fingers under her chin lifting it to meet her eyes.

His thumb moved to her lower lip, pulling it away from her top teeth. He lowered his voice in volume even more. "Stop it."

Unable to react physically, the girl was a mess on the inside. Trying to look anywhere but forward, she heard a small snicker leave his lips.

Well, I don't feel like I am going to cry anymore

"Is looking at me that hard?"

"W-well n-"

Cutting her off with a small peck, the blush returned to her cheeks. "H-hey."

They both shared a soft giggle. With it getting later in the night, Seungmin encouraged the girl to get comfortable again.

Miyu looked at the unknown number on her phone as she got dressed. Slowly raising it to her ear, a soft voice greeted her from the other end.

"Hello, this is Kimikos mother, Ryu Himari. Is this Miyu?"

She hummed in response. "This is her."
