  "Akari, you made it!" Miyu forced a smile, hugging the girl. As her eyes landed on the woman next to her, Akari seemed to let out a nervous chuckle.

  "Sorry, this is Byeol. She is part of the witness protection program." Miyu chuckled back as they all took a seat in the booth.

  "Ah, B-byeol? It's nice to meet you."

  "It's nice to meet you too, Akari. I heard many good things about you."

  "You have?"

  Byeol kindly smiled. "Of course I have, Airi thinks very highly of you."

  Miyu noted Byeols acting skills, letting her do so as she pleased.

  "So, do you two also approve of Jinae and Airi?" Akari nervous asked, mainly looking towards the older sister.

  She nodded. "They are a great match. Why, is something wrong?"

  Leaning forward, the girl twirled some of her hair in her hand. "I looked her up.. she killed her own mother, Miyu unnie."

  Miyu and Byeol shared a look before turning back. Neither of them had expected her to he so blunt as Byeols head tilted to the side. "Where did you find such information? Can you prove it's true?"

  Akari let out a huff, seemingly growing frustrated. "Are you really okay with your sister dating a killer?!?" She yelled in a whisper to refrain from making a scene.

  "She isn't a killer until you can prove it, Akari." Byeol insisted, keeping her calm. Miyu just sat silently, unsure of what to say at this point.

  "Why take the chance? Airi will just get hurt in the end." She crossed her arms, leaning back in her seat. "She shouldn't be anywhere near her."

  "Akari, do you like my sister?"

  "So what if I do?!? Do I really care about her safety more than you two?!?" She grabbed her bag, standing from her seat. "I'll prove she is bad news, unnie. Even if I end up the bad guy."

  "Akari-" Byeol stopped Miyu from following her. She shook her head. "She wasn't telling us the whole truth, Miyu. I don't recognize her other than as your friend but.. she definitely knew I wasn't human."

  "How? Is it really possible to tell?"

  "Not for normal humans, no. Not unless they were trained as a young child.. as in being a hunter." She sighed.

  Miyu frowned, turning to face the fairy. "You're saying.. Akari is a hunter? I've known her for years-"

"Hunters are very secretive and manipulative. They are still humans at the end of the day and know how to keep their cover. The reason she is going after Jinae.. is probably because she knows she is a vampire." She claimed. "We should head back now."

As the two women returned to the cottage, Seungmin was talking with Jisung and Felix in the living room.

"How did it go?" Seungmin asked. Byeol immediately turned to Miyu, sheepishly smiling. "I told him about the whole Akari situation before we went out. I hope you don't mind."

She shook her head as a faint pain started in her head. "I don't mind.."

Byeol let out a sigh. "We have the suspicion that her friend Akari is a hunter. She definitely knew I wasn't human, so it's possible she thinks Jinae will hurt Airi."

The pain grew greatly in seconds for Miyu as she did her best to ignore it. The others continued to talk, when Seungmin walked to her side and grabbed her arm. "Your eyes are purple. Are you okay?"

Now with all attention on her, the pain became unbearable as her knees gave out. "Miyu!" Byeol yelled, the younger sister and her girlfriend immediately running down the stairs in worry.

"What's going on?!?"

"I-it hurts." She hissed, her fist turning white holding onto Seungmins hoodie sleeve.

Suddenly the girl went limp as Byeol grabbed Airis arm before she could freak out. "Your eyes are purple now too, you should lay down. We got you, I promise."

Airi sat beside her sister as Jinae worriedly held onto her. She leaned into her girlfriend arms and held her sisters hand, feeling the strength leave her body. "I trust you guys."

Her body shortly went limp, no pain being detected. Byeol and Seungmin went into doctor mode, bringing the girls down to the basement.

"Take a small blood sample from Miyu, please. We will keep an eye on their vitals for now and see what we can do."
