"Hey, you okay?" Byeol asked after dropping off a new gown for Miyu to wear.

The human failed to hold her expression as she looked down, attempting to hide her teary eyes.

Immediately feeling the sadness fill her, Byeol took a seat on the bed. "Talk to me."

For only the second time since arriving here, Miyu broke down. Tears quickly fell as she sniffled, failing to dry her face.

"My whole life h-has been flipped upsidedown within just a few days. M-my only family is b-being held captive b-by monsters, b-both of us are on t-the missing persons list and our friends are probably worried sick, I can't keep any food down, and I can't remember the last time I was fucking happy!!"

Realizing her last few words at the same time, Miyu covered her mouth. "I'm sorry."

Byeol sadly smiled. "Don't apologize hun. Give me your hands."

She took a deep breath, motioning to follow her lead. After a few moments, Byeol reached over to tuck Miyus hair behind her ear. "At what age.. did you start taking care of Airi?"

"Twelve.. maybe Thirteen.." she quietly stated.

"Do you remember what you wanted to be when you grew up? What was your childhood dream?"

After a few moments of thinking, a small yet shaky smile covered her lips. "I didn't remember until now.. I didn't have a dream like that.. but I was obsessed with Fairies. Now- I didn't know they actually existed.. but I loved being in nature and pretending every butterfly was actually just a fairy in disguise." She lightly chuckled.

"Would you like to see something cool?"

Looking up with a bit of confusion, Byeol stood from the bed. She gave a bright smile as large, sparkling wings grew behind her. They had a glowing yellow tone and small bit of orange through out the edges.

"Are they pretty?" She asked as Miyu dramatically nodded. "You are absolutely gorgeous!"

"Thank you, but so are you Miyu."

"May I ask, why do you guys never have them on show?"

Her wings slowly disappeared as she sat back on the bed. "It's not easy to repair a broken wing. It could also mess with our balance when flying for the rest of our lives."

A small knock caught both girls attention. "Come in!"

Felix peaked in with a small smile. "We are back and making dinner."

"Okay." Byeol responded.

"Hey Felix.. what color are your wings?"

As Felix glanced over to the older, she threw her hands in the air. "It's my fault, I showed her mine." She giggled.

Felix walked all the way into the room, showing off his wings as well. As expected, Miyu admired them greatly.

Similar to Byeol, his were mostly yellow with the very top of the wings fading into a light green.

"Wahh, I'm honestly jealous that I am just a stupid human."

"Hey, don't doubt yourself like that." Felix pouted. Byeol hummed to agree.

"Dinner is done!" Jisung yelled from downstairs. "Fuck! You scared the shit out of me Seungmin!"

The three chuckled. Byeol patted the dark blue and lavender purple dress. "Put this on, it is super comfy!"

"All of your dresses are comfy unnie."

Surprised by the nickname, Byeol caught Miyu off guard with a hug.

"Okay, okay, I'll meet you down there wearing the dress."

As she walked downstairs, she felt like a princess wearing the dress. It flattered her body nicely, and the colors worked very well with her skin tone.

"Yes! I got the stitches perfect!" Byeol celebrated with a little dance as the two other fairies chuckled.

"You look very pretty, Miyu-ssi." Felix complimented, Jisung agreeing.

"What about you Seungmin, do you think she looks pretty?" Byeol pulled the girl to face him, both faces turning red instantly.

"Yeah." He bluntly spoke, taking a drink of coffee.

"Coffee? This late in the afternoon?" Byeol crossed her arms.

He only shrugged. "I have to get back to something later."

After a nice dinner together, the fairies all seemed to run off somewhere as Miyu and Seungmin were stuck cleaned up the table.

"Can you hand me the pot of food? I'll put leftovers in the fridge." Miyu offered. With a small nod, the male did as asked. He continued to wash the dishes as she began wiping down the table.

"If I may ask..." She began, keeping her eyes on the counter. "Byeol unnie, Jisung and Felix.. those three are Fairies. What are you?"

He shrugged. "It's not all that interesting, really. I was born human.. someone placed a curse on me and when I found out how to remove it, I discovered I was capable of doing much more."

Byeol scoffed. "Yah, quit downplaying it and be careful with that glass!" She lightly hit his head.

It was then Miyu had noticed Seungmims grim expression. She knew the light smack wasn't it, so what was bothering him?
