"Momma, m-my f-feet hurt!" The six year old complained as the frantic mother turned back, telling her to keep quiet.Loud yells and screams erupted from not far away as the women grew even more worried. She looked around, spotting a large dumpster a few feet away.
She hurried over, lifting the six year old and new born into it. She began to close the lid, tears welling in her eyes. "Listen to me, Miyu. Do not get out. Do not make a single sound. Keep Airi as quiet as possible. A woman will come for you, do not come out unless you see the star pendant, okay?"
"Momma-"
"Please Miyu, just l-listen to me. I love you my babies. Momma will always be here for you, do you understand?"
Miyu nodded, tears wetting her cheeks and the sleeping new born in her arms. "I love you, momma."
The dumpster lid was closed as footsteps ran far away. Miyu hugged Airi, whispering to herself that everything would be okay.
Hours had passed. Miyu faded in and out of sleep, the smell that once stung her nose- now covering her body. She woke up to the baby crying as she began to freak out.
She tried her best to keep her quiet, gasping as the lid to the trashcan was thrown open.
The sky was now brightly lit as an older women stared in disbelief.
Just as Miyu was about to scream for help, she noticed the star pendant hanging around the womans neck.
"Come on hun, let's get you two out."
Refusing to let go of Airi, the woman pulled the two out together. They began to walk a while, the older child's legs shaky from the previous night of running she had endured.
It was soon after that they had arrived to a small house. A women answered the door, letting the three in instantly.
-Miyu jerked awake, her cheeks wet with tears and her forehead covered in sweat. "Mom?"
Before she could even comprehend what she just saw, the door peaked open. "Miyu-ssi, are you okay?"
Seungmin took a seat on the bed. He frowned in worry, unable to kick the unease that Majo gave him.
She took a deep breath before nodding. "Yeah, just a nightmare. I am okay."
"Your eye is purple." He informed, reaching up to her face. Deciding against it, he backed away. "Are you in any pain?"
She shook her head. "I'm okay. Why are you here this late?"
He let out a nervous chuckle, scratching his neck. "I just wanted to check on everyone, that's all. I had this bad feeling I couldn't shake."
"Yeah, I feel it too. I don't think... I don't think this is over.."
He shook his head. "Me neither."
"Keep Airi safe, please Seungmin."
- three days later
Jinae and Airi walked through the park, hand in hand. Enjoying the beautiful scenery, the two couldn't be happier.
"Baby, is anything bothering you? You seem out of it." Airi admitted, pulling lightly on the olders arm.
Jinae smiled at Airis cuteness, shaking her head. "Nothin-"
"Airi, Jinae!"
Akari ran up with a giant smile, greeting the two happy as can be. Confused, their intertwined hands tightened.
"Hey Kari, what's up?"
She shrugged with an innocent smile. "I was on a walk when I noticed you two. How have you been?"
Airi held onto Jinaes arm and nodded. "We've been great, how about you?"
She nodded, shifting her eyes to the Vampire. "I've been meaning to ask, how is your mother, Jinae?"
