With a groan, Seungmin slowly opened his eyes. In attempt to lift his hand to cover his eyes from the sun, he realized there was something keeping his wrist in place.

Finally able to see the room around him, he went still as Miyu came into view. She held one of his hands in hers, her head resting on top. She was fast asleep.

Not able to hold back a smile, he slowly lifted his other hand, brushing her hair out of her face.

  She really is so pretty..

The loud door caused the girl to shoot awake, her eyes meeting Jeongins before meeting Seungmins. Her eyes grew wide as she was unsure how to react.

She removed her hand from his, sitting back down after the shock. "A-are you r-really.. okay?"

He carefully nodded with a hum. "Yeah.. I'm okay."

Jeongin rushed forward with many tears, throwing himself onto Seungmin. "You scared us all man! Do you know how long you were out?!?"

"Judging by the stiffness in my body.. three days?"

Still in completely shock, she was unsure how the male knew and how in the world he was chuckling. He carefully sat up, holding his stomach.

"B-be careful! You aren't f-fully healed-"

Seungmin grabbed her hand, causing her to go quiet.

"I know, I'll take it easy. Jeongin, can you wait like thirty minutes before telling the others I'm awake? I'm not awake enough for that much love yet."

Understanding his wish, Jeongin nodded. "I'll give you two some time to talk before I tell everyone."

Being left alone, Miyu stared at their hands with a red face. Finding it quite amusing, the male just continued to look at her.

"T-thank you, Seungmin. Thank you for keeping me safe.. even when you would get hurt yourself.. you still put me first. I hope I can repay you." Miyu let out a sigh, not daring to look up.

"Just repay me by staying safe and happy with your sister, Jinae and Byeol."

"Are you guys- are you going to leave once this is all over?"

Pressing his lips into a line, he nodded. "It's not often we meet up and all fight together. It's not usually safe to be in a big group as human Hunters may find out about our existence."

"Oh, I see." She nodded, not bothering to question.

"I will come around to check on you all. I'll come running if you ever need it."

"Y-yah, quit being so cheezy." She nervously giggled, attempting to hide her blush. She was completely unaware he was doing it on purpose, not being able to get enough of her smile.

"Why is that a problem? I've never been able to show people they mean a lot to me, so I hope you know that without me having to prove it." He suddenly blurted, holding onto her hand once again. "Min might be dead.. but Moon, Donghyun and Sujin are all still a threat. I won't leave until I know you are safe, I promise."

Thinking he was joking at first, she realized just how serious he was. His eyes looked directly into hers, locking them in an intense gaze she couldn't get away from.

With a push from nowhere, Miyu got up and hugged the male. "Thank you."

This time, Seungmin was completely frozen. A few seconds passed by before he hugged her back, feeling her relax.

Though his heart raced, he pulled her closer, making her sit on the bed next to him. They both awkwardly giggled, but secretly enjoyed every second.

Going to pull away, Miyu couldn't. Seungmin took a deep breath. "Stay like this.. just one minute longer."
