One day later

3:45am

Tightening her shoes and zipping her jacket, Miyu snuck past Yukari on the couch. Carefully closing the door behind her, she ran out and didn't look back.

After some time, she realized she had no idea where she was, nor where to go.

After waking up in the middle of the night, Miyu had went out determined to lure out either Seungmin, the boy who resembled a fox, or even the man himself to confront him.

Within what seemed like a minute, rain poured as thunder and lightning clashed. Miyu excepted that her phone was probably ruined.

She attempted to retrace her steps to find her way home. Though it was nearly impossible to see, she found a familiar street.

Walking through an unfamiliar alleyway to get there, her shoulder suddenly collided with a hooded male.

They slowly turn to look at one another, both eyes growing wide.

She jumped back at the sight of glowing red, yet the worst of her worries was hardly that.

Another male approached, red peering eyes looking amused as he wiped what she could only assume was blood from his mouth.

Was she dreaming? Maybe the rain is making her see things

The hooded male yanked her arm, pushing her the way she came. "Run!"

She sprinted around the corner, running into a hard surface.

"Well, aren't you a sweet one?"

He grabbed her wrist, lifting it to his mouth as she yanked it away. He harshly drug her into a headlock, taking a bigger wiff of the blood that filled her.

"Mmm, I wonder.. ah!" He hissed in pain, dropping the girl as he fell to his knees. The hooded male held a knife, swirling it around his fingers.

Miyu ran once again, gasping as yet another male appeared in front of her. This time she yelled in relief, but jumped in fear as the hooded figure showed up behind her.

"Seungmin!!" She ran up to him, clashing with his chest in distress. The moment she grabbed onto his cloak-like jacket, she suddenly lost consciousness.

"She knows you?" The hooded male frowned, pulling down his hood. Seungmin caught the girl from falling, carefully lifting her.

"No wonder she was running from you, your eyes are red." He huffed while shaking his head.

"Actually." Hyunjin looked behind him. "Donghyun was after me when I ran into her. He is probably still somewhere around here waiting."

"Was anyone with her?" Seungmin motioned to the girl in his arms. The vampire shook his head. "She was alone when she ran into me."

With a soft flutter, Miyu opened her eyes. She frowned as she looked at the ceiling fan.

Slowly turning her head to the side, she realized that she is in an unfamiliar room. Upon turning the other way, she was startled by a small child sitting beside her bed knitting.

"Ah, you are awake." She giggled, her long, light brown hair falling off her shoulders elegantly. "How are you feeling, Miss Miyu?"

She slowly sat up. Taking in her surroundings, she admired the ethereal looking child in front of her. Her eyes looked a natural yet unnaturally bright green and her skin was glowing and flawless.

She wore a beautiful gown that looked handmade. It was green and light brown, flowy with lace and silk. Her waist was wrapped in a dark green corset, giving off a more mature look.

"W-what happened?" Miyu held her head, unable to recall how she got here.

"You fainted after going out to look for your sister. You ran into Seungmin and Hyunjin, who brought you here."

  "Hyun...Jin..?"

As if on cue, Seungmin walked into the bedroom. He looked around the room, avoiding her eyes. "Are you okay?"

She replayed the night in her head. Unintentionally shooting right into panic, she jumped up from bed just to immediately fall. She wobbled towards the male, throwing herself onto his chest once again. "P-please h-help m-me f-find A-Airi! P-please! S-she hasn't c-come home in s-so l-long!!" She sobbed, weak punches being thrown at him.

"Uhh-" he grew even more awkward, raising his hands in defeat. "Y-yeah, of course. We will help you find y-your sister just- uh-"

Byeol pulled Miyu by the hand. "Stay here with me from now on. It isn't safe for you on your own."

Seungmin agreed while scratching his neck. "Yeah, not only Hangsu but now Donghyun is obsessed with your scent. You are an target for both. It's best you stay with Byeol."

"B-but I need to work i-"

Byeol stopped her, holding both of her hands. "You don't need to work. I'll take care of you."

"B-but if two men are after m-me, how is a child going to protect me?" Miyu blurted.

Seungmin placed a hand on Byeols shoulder, giving Miyu a serious look. "I know you are scared, but you need to trust us. You can't protect yourself and sister from these two. If not, well... it's your life after all. We won't stop you."

Seungmin left the room after his blunt words, leaving the two women in shock. Byeol apologized for him, getting her to lay back down.

"Just stay here and let me make you some food. You look so frail and shaken."
