Patricia sighed and said"Your father was busy a lot with his company...see your family owns a multinational Corporation. Your dad traveled and did the deals and your mom stayed home and raised you and did the accounting. One night your mother passed and your father wasn't around as she cried out just before she died and when you asked him why, he never would tell you. After that, you blamed him and carried a deep hatred but even your story had gaps and unanswered questions. I'm afraid that someone in your family knows what's going on and I'm sure with all that's happened, they will come forward".Elaenna nodded with disappointment in her eyes but it didn't stay there for long.

Her friends stayed for another hour, sharing goofy moments and heartfelt moments, some of which Elaenna remembered and some of which she didn't but still enjoyed hearing. On their way out, they saw a beautiful brunette woman with reddish-white skin and a curvaceous body, walking up to the door and they knew that Elaenna was in for it. The woman they had saw was her Aunt and unbeknownst to them, she had come to set Elaenna free and lay down the truth. Her Aunt Sasha walked up to the door and paused before knocking on it and coming in. As she walked inside Elaenna smiled and said "Hi Auntie, thanks for sending me here,I really love it". Her Aunt smiled for a minute before reverting back to her worried face and walking over to take a seat.

She let out a sigh, before looking Elaenna in the eyes and saying"This mess is my fault...but I'm here to fix that and set both of us free".Elaenna looked at her confused and said"What do you mean, auntie?" Sasha sighed and said"Your mother committed suicide and I had told you that it was your father's fault and that he hadn't done enough. I also told you never to trust men or you'd end up like her but none of that was true. I was upset about her death and I was bitter over my recent divorce at the time and I wanted to protect you since you were beautiful and rich which is a magnet for attracting the wrong people...especially men".

Sasha continued and said"Before you get angry at me, listen to everything I tell you...as your mother's sister, I owe it to her to set this mess straight. Elaenna nodded and said" lay it on me" Sasha nodded and said" your mother always suffered from depression but she always found ways to deal with it. She went to therapy and took the proper medications but over time it just began to not be as effective". When your father found out, he spared no expense to pay for the best doctors to treat her and when he was going to be gone for long, he would video call her and check up on her and he would attend therapy sessions with her when he could".

She continued and said" with the big price tag on her treatment which was working, his company began to become strained as other tech giants entered the market and because of this he had to work hard to get contracts and manage sales and even cut corners...your father's company was still finding it's legs and he knew him and his family were riding on it. He poured everything into it and just a few months after she passed, his company found its stable footing which hurt your father...he kept thinking to himself that if he could've worked harder and faster, he could've finished earlier and been there to save her life".

Elaenna was about to speak until Sasha raised her finger up to signal she had more to say. She continued and said"In truth, your mother was also diagnosed with pulmonary heart issues and they were taking their toll as well as the depression. The last time I talked to her which was a few days before she died, she had told me she was tired and stressed and lonely but she told me she would hold on and look back with a smile on this stormy patch her and your father managed to sail through".Sasha looked Elaenna in the eyes and said, "your father did all he could and there's no reason to hate all men...there's actually a lot of nice ones, it's just the bad apples like that guy who shot you, that ruin the bunch, in fact, last month I got engaged".

Sasha smiled as she showed Elaenna the beautiful diamond ring which also put a smile on her face. Sasha sighed and said"I didn't know the full story until he and a few doctors at the funeral came forward and talked to me and your grandmother but I decided to withhold it, hoping to tell you when you were older but I kept putting it off and I'm sorry that it got you here". Elaenna smiled and said"it's alright...I've seen myself from an outside view and I know it's time to change and I have a wonderful man here to support me". After she said that, Sasha noticed as her niece's face turned bright red which made her smile.

She looked at Elaenna and said"Looks like you have some feelings for this guy" Elaenna scratched her arm and said, "I think I do but I'm still sorting out the feelings right now...please don't be angry".Sasha sighed and said, "If anything happens, I'll take responsibility...don't forget we're rich...your father left me money and you the company and it's money before his passing". Sasha's smile disappeared before she said, "Your father died in a plane accident last month...he left a will in a safe deposit box with a letter that was meant to be read many years from now, but things happen...at least he and your mother get to meet again in the afterlife".

After talking a bit more, her Aunt gave her a kiss and left, nervous about Elaenna but as far as Elaenna was concerned she had no reason to not change and let go of her old nasty attitude. After a few minutes, Jeremy came back in with a smile and when Elaenna saw him, she immediately knew that she had a crush and she was going to pursue it and see where it took her.
