Jeremy dropped his book and froze right where he was sitting as Elaenna inched closer to him. Finally, she stopped about a foot away from him and said"I want you to get the hell outta here right now...if you don't I'll be forced to act". Jeremy sighed and said, "You wouldn't actually shoot me would you Elaenna? Think about everything we've been through". She said"fuck those memories, I was lost and in a vulnerable and deluded state but now I see perfectly clear. I don't want your kind around here...just your very presence makes me feel threatened and I can't take it anymore! so tonight you're leaving one of two ways...please choose and don't get cocky. I'll do what I have to for my safety and if that means killing you, I'm more than happy to do so and make it look like a tragic break-in and robbery" or a fishing accident".

She cocked the 9-millimeter Glock she was holding, thus chambering the first round and letting him know she wasn't kidding. Jeremy stood up and said, "Very well, I'll leave since you feel that way, Ms. Robinson but I do need my car". She said"It's already out front, now move" Jeremy stood up, turned his back to her, walked out of the mansion, got in his car, and drove towards the gate. He didn't care anymore about the stuff he left, Elaenna's feelings, or his own. He was tired of being strong and for what? the woman he loved is gone and the sight of her pointing a gun at him proved it. For his safety and his sanity, he decided to stop trying for now and go back to the house his family owned in the countryside.

He hadn't been there in a few months since he was living at the facility with Elaenna and he was ready to go home. He held no bad feelings towards the house and he looked after it well but it's just that when he's there and not at work he feels like a failure for wasting time relaxing. Jeremy drove for a couple of hours before finally arriving at the house. It was in the nice middle-class countryside where it was quiet and a few miles away from the city so the view at night was beautiful. The house was a white,2-story, 3-bedroom house, with a front and back patio and a garage; nothing special but it was his and a place to call home.

Jeremy parked his car in the driveway, got out, walked up to the front door of the house, and sorted through his keys. After inserting the key for the top lock and the bottom, he walked on in and turned on the living room light before trudging up the steps to his room like a zombie".Once he reached his room, he threw his clothes on the floor and crawled into his bed feeling cozy. With the negative thoughts gone, he finally noticed how small but cozy the house felt when compared to those giant over-furnished rooms he'd been staying in. For the first time in a couple of weeks, he drifted off to sleep without a care in the world. He figured he'd spend some time recuperating before heading back to the facility and getting a new patient.

The next morning, Elaenna woke up feeling wonderful and ready to take on the world now that Jeremy was gone, but that feeling quickly faded as Friday turned into Saturday and Saturday into Sunday, and so forth. Her heart began feeling weird and despite Jeremy being gone, she still kept seeing him in her memories and those memories were quickly followed by pain and regret before reverting back into hate and fear. Her aunt had long since found out about what she did to Jeremy but chose not to say anything. Instead, she gave up shock therapy as well and decided it was best for Elaenna to solve the issues herself since there was no changing that stubborn mind of hers.

Another week had passed and neither Elaenna nor Jeremy were doing well at all. Jeremy lay around the house, writhing in agony and eating to his heart's content as he thought about Elaenna. He had nearly recovered from his trauma with his mother by now but was facing being held back by his memories with Elaenna. She built him up, taught him a new outlook on life, and gave him his firsts of many things including kisses and dates and he would never forget that. As for Elaenna, she learned a lot of things including the joys of opening up and being with someone who wants the best for you and would go to any lengths just to see you smile. Slowly but surely her denial was fading into a range of emotions. These emotions would soon give her a once-in-a-lifetime chance that she always wished she could've had when she was younger but would now receive".

It was late at night and as usual, Elaenna was up late again trying to sort out her emotions and relax her mind to no avail. As she sat up in her bed, the wind picked up outside before her windows that opened inwards, flew open and a light shone down. After a few seconds, the wind died down and the light disappeared revealing Elaenna's mother and father. Her mother stood there with her golden skin glistening in the moonlight and her long black hair blowing with the gentle breeze. Her father stood next to her with his reddish black skin also glistening in the moonlight as well as his navy blue suit and red tie. Elaenna froze in fear as they walked towards her and she began to scream; trying to wake up.
