Things were a blur for Jeremy from the moment Elaenna made that remark. Jeremy who had been holding back, lost all control and gave into his lust after a bit more persuasion from her. One by one their clothes fell onto the floor and the kissing gave way to gentle moans and "I love you's". Although Both of them were experiencing their first time, there was no embarrassment, no worry, just pure feelings of love and togetherness. When it was all over and both of them had reached orgasmic bliss. After recovering their strength, they both got up, got dressed, and read the same book together.
Elaenna was the first to break the silence and said"I-I'm sorry about what happened earlier,I just had this-".Jeremy cupped her cheek and said, "I understand...besides I kinda liked seeing that fiery side of you, it's one of the reasons I fell for you".Elaenna blushed and said"Well you're about to see a lot more until the day we both die" as she pulled out a ring box and slid a golden ring on his finger. She smiled and said, "Relax we're not getting married yet...that's just to let both of us know that we can move forward and we will; one step at a time with each other's support". Jeremy smiled and said"I can't wait to start living our life together" before pulling his girlfriend into a kiss and carrying her off to bed. As they lay together that night, they both held onto each other as if afraid this moment would end too soon but little did they know, this was just the beginning of a wonderful life together.
After that night, Jeremy quit his job at the rehab facility and Elaenna moved into his house with him temporarily. He personally oversaw the rest of her PT training and within 2 months she had total proficiency of her motor skills. With Elaenna's memories back, she was seen as mentally competent as was able to sign for and collect the inheritance and the insurance money her father had left for her. Upon inheriting the company, she stepped away from the electronics market and got into designing affordable, good-looking clothing for both men and women which took off immediately and opened avenues for other ventures that she had on her plate. All throughout this ordeal, her now husband; Jeremy, supported her and handled what she couldn't and thanks to that, they had accomplished all this in just 3 years.
Elaenna had just married Jeremy two months ago and due to their status, they chose to get married with a handful of family and friends present. It was nothing elaborate, just a simple ceremony with a small dinner afterward. Unlike the wedding, they spared no expenses for their honeymoon in Japan. They had chosen Japan because of Jeremy turning into an anime addict and binging practically every anime and naturally, Elaenna got into it too.
They worked hard and diligently to help the company keep its stable footing and by the time 3 more years had passed, everything was stable and the couple stepped away from the company's operations department and appointed new heads while they retained their CEO position and ownership. The company now dabbled in electronics, online shopping,food, fashion, and even Rehab facilities for many different things. As if it were destiny, one of the facilities they happened to acquire was none other than the one where they met each other.
With tons of free time now, they finally moved out of Jeremy's old house and sold it since he felt it was the best way to truly let go of his mother's death and move forward. They settled down in a newly built,modern-style, mini mansion. It was small and only had 6 bedrooms and a few wide-open lounging spaces but they didn't mind. They figured the more you love someone, the less space there should be between each other. Of course, they did have their own separate offices, a gaming room, and a personal library because those were necessities but everything else her aunt had, they chose to skimp out on.
Elaenna hung out with her friends when they weren't busy managing their businesses. Gabriela became a veterinarian and used her inheritance to found a company dedicated to quality animal care and Patricia joined the fashion world and specialized in luxury, baby, and maternity clothing some of which Elaenna would need. As if it were destiny, Elaenna found out on her 29th birthday which was on Thanksgiving that year, that she was pregnant. She was so happy and full of joy that she cried.
As she held the test in her hand, she looked up at the sky and said"Momma, I still got a long way to go but I'm gettin' there...thanks for everything" before she got up, grabbed the first test and ran towards the living room to tell Jeremy. Little did she know, her mother was out there watching with a smile and said"That's what mothers are for and pretty soon you'll learn that meaning too".
