Chapter 1 - The Re-entry

Nov 26 2023, Abu Dhabi, in the racing Paddock

It is the final match of the season and the paddock is bustling with reporters, mechanics, team principles, drivers and all the F-1 fans! Now the winning teams are making their way to the podium to join the festivities. The most played anthem of the season - The Dutch national anthem plays stating the obvious win of Max Verstappen of Redbull, continuing to break his records by the passing day, or as in the F1 world, by the passing race.

In the second place is Charles Leclerc of Ferrari, followed by George Russel of Mercedes. All the drivers who were together on the track ever since their karting times.

Packing up in the paddock are the rest of the teams, getting team pictures clicked one last time with their respective cars for the season, which will officially after the race. Of course there is a lot of playing around amongst the drivers, especially the younger ones compared to the now older drivers.

As everybody is wrapping up their interviews, there is also an excitement of the drivers that are all going to be at an official 'end of the season' dinner together.

At the dinner

Everybody gathered and are having a good time, reminiscing various stories ranging from their early racing career 'inchidents' to the current season's iconic moments.

As the dinner progressed they eventually started talking about the 'unofficial' dinner party. Of course there is going to be more than a formal dinner to celebrate the end of the season. They are going to party hard, drinking their assess off and god knows what the singles would be doing after that.

Well, this party is more open than the dinner that they're currently having, they can bring their partners or a plus one, or attend with a group of friends, along with the close people from the team and their respective invitees attending.All in all, it's a party involving everyone important to F-1 and beyond.

It's a lot to listen to or pay attention to 20 drivers all at once, and as a result there are parts of conversations around the massive table of 20 that kept branching out from one another.

Lando, who drives for McLaren along with Oscar are seated next to eachother with Carlos Sainz on the other side of Lando and Charles Leclrec on the other side of Piastri, both Carlos and Charles currently drive for Ferrari.

"Oh shit, that's my phone ringing" Lando speaks in his British accent rummaging through his pocket to pull out his cell phone. He furrows his brows with a surprised smirk on his face "Why is she calling me now?"

Boys will be boys, their ears perked up hearing a 'she' from Lando's mouth, our dear savage Lando who is currently single.

"Ooooh...... Whoooo is thaaaat mate?" Charles starts and tries to tease Lando with a wide smile on his face, that flashed his dimple of course, adding to the cuteness of his French accent.

"It's my friend from middle school" Lando says with his eyes attached to the screen.

"MiDdLe ScHOoL?" Carlos says in a sarcastical tone with a Spanish accent, raising his brow, also smiling raising his cheek bones up.

Lando sshs them as he picks up the call bringing the phone to his ear.

"Hey there!....... Yeah, I'm actually at the dinner with all the drivers...... oh no you're fine, do you want to call me later?...............................................Oh okay, yeah I don't mind, I can take you as my plus one, it's a win-win!...... Alright then see you, bye!" Lando ends his conversation on the phone, only to see that now most of the drivers are looking at him with curious and eager expressions.
