Chapter 33 - Rivals to Lovers

"Oh shit Jr.! I forgot to bring my jacket!" She exclaims lifting her head up and Carlos gently presses the brakes.

They both notice people coming towards the car as soon as he slowed down.

"I don't think we can go back now" Siya says looking through the side mirror.

"Oh here, I have a hoodie" Carlos finds something looking behind their seats "if you want take my jacket, I'll wear this"

"No either of them is fine" Siya sways her hand intending that she doesn't have a preference.

"Okay, vamos" he talks to himself driving away.

"When will you be done with your recording?" Siya closes her laptop for the final time and organises her bag while putting it inside.

"Umm probably by the evening. It's with Netflix, so sometimes it might end soon or take longer." Carlos turns the steering eyes fixed on the road.

"Okay! I'll see you at the track in the evening then!" Siya checks herself in the mirror while laying out her plan.

"Okay" Carlos responds and continues to hum to the song playing.

"Alright, Gracias Chili" Siya kisses his check as he was changing his gear to park the car and gets down leaving him to smile to himself.

Carlos' car at the entrance porch of the university, surprised the students around, confirming his presence in the vicinity.

Siya walks into the entrance of the university and the Dean receives her and leads her into the lecture hall, where Susie Wolf has just also arrived.

Susie Wolf is another power woman in the F-1 world. She drove for William's being one of the very few female drivers on the grid. She is currently with Toto Wolf who is Mercedes' team principle, they themselves are a power couple.

Siya caught Susie's eye ever since her iconic entry and achievements in the field, which were very remarkable for her young age. Both the power woman started inviting each other for collaborations to encourage younger generation of woman into motorsports and engineering.

The lecture goes very well, and they open the hall for questions. The students were very inspired and took this as a once in a lifetime opportunity to ask their minds out. Siya gladly answered them.

They couldn't help but notice the aura and the powerful stance that Siya has, which the public has only heard about through articles or posts on social media.

That aside they have also noticed how genuinely nice and inspiring it is to speak with Siya. Not everyone, but most of them.

"Okay, any more questions?" Siya asks after answering her previous question, it looked like the event is almost done with most of the questions answered.

She notices a hand rise from one of the last rows of the room "Yes!" The lecture was being recorded and the camera turns to the student.

"Who packed your bag this morning?" A very familiar voice asks, being the owner of the hand as he slowly stands up.

Siya was confused at first and then realises who that is, her expression changes to surprise all in a span of mere two seconds.

There were shrieks and gasps around the lecture room when they finally realised who was sitting with them all along, throughout the lecture.

It was Carlos.

Siya's confident and intimidating stance slowly eased out as soon as she saw him. There was a radiant smile on her face which was very different from the one that she had previously.
