Chapter 29 - Unfold

"I don't want to believe this" he mumbles to himself.

Flashback to Siya

Siya locks the door behind her, heading out of the house for her solo day out. Carlos left about an hour ago to care of his business stuff.

She requests a ride and gets down at the village.

She looked around in the shops, bought some authentic stuff. Sat around the town enjoying the views, explored delicious food. Visited some tourist attractions, attended an auction that she came across.

She receives a call from Carlos "Hello!" She chimes

"What are you doing?"

"I'm waiting for my food. Found this really beautiful place"

"Oh okay. Can you put me on speaker?"

"Why?"

"I want to tell everyone around you that you have a boy friend."

"Sir, that won't be necessary"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I am"

"Very well then.... Hahaha just wanted to see what you're doing. I'm missing you."

"I miss you too Jr."

"Okay, I have to go now. Can't wait to see you later. Bye!"

"Bye! Love you!" Siya chuckles to herself.

She reaches back home around 3 pm and passes time watching TV and doing some of her personal stuff. They were supposed to start their drive back to the airport by 9 pm latest to catch their flight.

It was around 5pm, when she was quietly reading a book on the couch at the corner of the room. She hears a voice coming from the window beside her.

She closed the blinds previously, as the light was too bright onto her reading spot. If not for that the person outside could have seen her in the house.

"Yes" the guy speaks onto his phone "I'm here outside the house...... no I haven't seen anybody getting in. I think there's no one home now" he listens onto his phone.

Siya quickly gets up putting her book aside, not making any noise. She looks around the house thinking of a place to hide.

"Okay, I'll check inside" She hears the guys voice.

She made sure to observe the place well enough when they arrived, thanks to that she knew that the entrance to the loft was through the bathroom.

She hurries into the bathroom pulling the rope to the stairs and climbs onto it with her laptop and cellphone. Thankfully the bathroom was towards the back and the guy was busy breaking in that he didn't hear the loft's panel shutting.

"I'm here and I don't see anybody" she heard him quietly from the loft, his footsteps continued "are you sure this is the right house?"

"Yeah" the voice on the other side spoke, the guy's speaker was loud enough  for Siya to listen to their conversation.

"It was around this area that we got the information that the deal happened. And we have only two couples that stayed. I tracked that the girl took a cab to the village and the car that drive from this spot is in the automobile factory now" the guy on the phone confirms both Siya's and Carlos' location taking Siya by shock.

"I'll come back around 6pm and check on them. We'll attack if we get even a least bit of confirmation okay?" The guy in the house responds.

"Wait wait" the guy on the phone stops him "The guy is Carlos Sainz. I just saw him driving away"
