"i don't understand- where did you get 7 from?" you inquired, and he slammed his hands on the table, staring at you. his eye contact was intense, but kinda hot.

"i got 7 from here. the equation told us that x = 14, and it said x divided by 2 is what we use to get here." he dragged his pen across the paper, pointing to the equation. you looked at him in confusion, and he grew even more irritated.

"oooooohhhhh... i get it. so y= 7 + z - w?" you said.

"yes. yes it is. now you have to find z by using this formula." your brain felt like it was disintegrating. how is this man able to be the student council president, top student, and has tutoring as a job? as his voice faded into the background, you couldn't help but stare at him while he talked.

not gonna lie, you were kind of falling for him. as you daydreamed, he suddenly smacked his pen onto your head.

"pay attention!"
"uughh- can i please have a break? i saw some good books nearby.. and the coffee shop looks so good." you smiled convincingly. he stared at you for a few seconds for sighing for the hundredth time.

"fine. i need to check out some books too." he said, as you cheered and got up out of your seat.

as you speed walked to the bookshelf, you were skimming through the books, looking for the one that piqued your interest. when you found it and picked it out, flipping some pages and reading the blurb. you decided to find a comfortable seat so you walked out from inbetween the two bookshelves.

as you were distracted with your book, you suddenly collided with something hard. you thought you slammed into a bookshelf, but when you looked up, you were met with a pair of familiar golden eyes.

it took a moment to process, but it was definitely him. when you realized, you felt your cheeks heat up and you covered your face with the open book.

"sorry-" you began, but was interrupted by him suddenly pushing you against one of the shelves. he didn't say anything to you, just staring into your very soul. you didn't really meet his eyes because of how intense his eye contact was.

he lowered your book (so he could see your face) and leaned in a bit, whispering in your ear.

"if you didn't know before, i like you." you didn't see but you could practically envision him smirking. he leaned in even closer, putting his hands on on both sides of your face, and before you could even react, his soft lips met with yours.

it wasn't as rough as you imagined him to be, instead he was super gentle. it's like he was being careful with you. as his lips lingered on yours, you could feel a wave of tenderness washing over you. it was as if he wanted to savor every moment, cherishing the connection between you both.

the kiss was unexpected, but you couldn't deny the electricity that surged through your body. time seemed to stand still as his lips moved against yours, and for a moment, all thoughts vanished except for the intoxicating sensation of his touch. it was a stolen moment of passion that left you speechless. he just smirked at you.

he let you go and walked back to the desk. "break's over."
