its just me

i start to get more and more anxious and i decided to walk slower and see what happens, i knew how to fight so i did this on purpose.

i feel hands on my shoulders and someone yelling in my ear.

"RAH!"

"BILL YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME!" i put my hands on my knees and breathe.

"it's just me! come on Tasha it wasn't that bad" bill says softly putting his hand on my back.

"bill, don't do that." i say laughing and standing up straight.

"okay okay. sorry."

"it's fine." i say back to bill walking home with him.

"why are you outside?" i ask bill.

"i saw you walk out your house from toms window so i followed you." bill says looking at his feet.

"so your wasting your precious time on following me?" i say looking at his hands as he fidgets with his rings, acting shy.

"well... yeah?" bill answers.

"right." i say going to go on my phone but it's flat.

"do you want to call your mum?" bill offers me his phone.

"yeah thanks." i gently grab bills phone from his pocket, our hands brushing against each other.

i put my mums phone number in and i put it on speaker.

"hello?"

"mum! sorry my phone went flat and i went for a walk."

"Tasha i was scared come home!"

i laugh. "yes i'm coming, i'm with bill right now."

"who's bill?"

"oh he's my friend i met, he's our next door neighbour aswell! isn't that cool?"

"yeah! now hurry up i want my chocolate!" i hear my mum laugh over the phone.

"okay!" i hang up the call and pass the phone back to bill

"thanks, your mum seems nice."

"yeah, you can come in and meet her if you want?"

"sure!"

we walk back around the block talking about random stuff and we reach my house and i smile at him as we walk towards my house, opening the door to my mum on the couch.

"here mumma." i pass her the chocolate and she looks at bill.

"and this, is bill! he also has a twin called tom. but he's not here right now."

"well don't you two look good together?!" my mum says smiling and raising her eyebrow.

"mum stop!" i say laughing and looking at bill who is smiling and he's blushing.

"just kidding! or am i?"

"mum!"

"okay jeez!" she laughs

i turn to bill "do you wanna go home or stay here a bit?"

"i don't mind, if you want me to get tom i can?" bill says

"bill just choose."

"no it's your house"

"and your the guest."

"i'm not welcoming myself in your house."

"bill just choose!" i say as we both laugh.

"fine! i'll stay here for a bit. do you want tom?" bill asks

"you choose."

bill carefully shakes his head 'no' and i smile and lead him to my room.

we get in my room and i flop on my bed and bill just stands there acting shy again.

"bill don't be like that, it's fine you can sit on my bed."

bill runs up and jumps on my bed and we both laugh as we are laying flat on my bed.

"let's play my Nintendo!" i say while getting up, setting my switch up.

"do you have mario kart?!" bill looks at me with hope in his eyes.

"yes!" i say passing him a remote jumping back on my bed.

we settle into my bed, both having a controller in hand.

"your going to lose, i'm really good." i tease bill.

"nahhh i'll win." bill replies.

"oh yeah? what course should we play?" i ask him looking at him

"hmm... that one." he points to the mushroom course.

"okay. get ready to get beaten.." i say staring at the screen and waiting for the timer to go off.

"woah that's unfair!" bill yells as i get a boost from one of the boxes.

"hah! told you! wait!" bill passed me with a rocket.

"i told you i'm bette- WHAT?" bill jumps up from the bed.

"HAH I TOLD YOU BILLY!" i took over him right at the finish line.
