"What the hell are you doing?" I yelled down to him. "Why haven't you been answering my calls?" "Are you throwing rocks at my window?" "Yeah!" "You're crazy" I said laughing. "Why are you ignoring me?" "Thanks to you I don't have a phone." "What?" "What do you want loser?" "Late night swim?" " Jere, it's midnight" "So?" I stared down at the boy who was just throwing rocks at my window. How could I resist him? "I'll be down in a sec."
I rushed to my closet and put on my hot pink bikini, grabbed my tote bag and ran downstairs. I couldn't care less that I was grounded. I just wanted to be with Jere.
I walked outside and he was waiting for me by the front door. It was a full moon tonight so it was bright outside for it being midnight. "Hey" I chimed, "Hey" His features looked good under this moonlight.
"So are we just gonna go to the beach?" I asked but he didn't respond. I looked up at him and his eyes were trailing up and down my body. I began to feel a little self conscious. "Eyes up here Fisher." I said and began to walk to his car. He hesitated, "Uh- wait I" He stuttered, I loved that I made him stutter.
"What?" I said smirking at him. "What did you say?" He said walking around to the drivers side. "I said are we just going to the beach?" "Oh! Yeah we are." He seemed a little flustered, I could tell he was wanting to change the conversation.
"What made you want to have a late night swim?" I asked, "I was bored...and wanted to see you" I smiled to myself. "So, please tell me why I was the reason you don't have a phone?" I pulled my phone out of my bag, "This happened when you called me to come rescue you." "Holy shit!" He said taking my phone out of my hands just like Kathrine did. "That is why I have been ignoring you" I said, "Okay well I guess I'll have to get you a new phone." He said sarcastically. "Yeah you better" I joked.
We pulled up to the beach, I was honestly so happy to be here. It was a nice change of scenery from my house. We got out and he began to walk out towards the sand. "Wait Jere!" I said making him turn around. "Yeah?" "C'mere!" He walked back towards me, "What?" "Turn around." He flashed me a confused look, but he obeyed. I grabbed his shoulders and jumped onto his back, he instinctively grabbed my legs. "Okay" I said pleased. "Are you really too lazy to walk?" He teased. "Thank you!" I said and kissed his cheek.
He carried me on his back until he got to where the water barely touched his ankles. He gently set me down. He smiled at me and took my bag. He walked over to the shore and set our stuff down. I watched him take his hoodie off, now it was my turn to be in awe of him. I couldn't take my eyes off his abs and chest and muscles.
He grabbed my chin and tilted it up so I was looking at his face. "Eyes up here Stark." He said in almost a whisper. Butterflies formed in my stomach and I felt my cheeks get hot with a blush. "Can't you come up with your own line?" I said. He stared at me then pushed my in the water.
"That was rude" I said holding my hand out for him to help me up. He grabbed my hand and instead I pulled him down with me. "Wow, I guess I deserved that."
Me and Jere had a great time, we always do though. We have been in the ocean for about 30 minutes when he grabbed onto me and tackled me into the water. We came up and he was still holding onto me. His hands on my bare skin made me feel like I couldn't breathe. But, in a good way, like I never wanted him to take his hands off of me.
We stared at each other and for a moment I could see a spark between us. I saw his eyes glance down to my lips. I reciprocated and looked at his, they looked soft and inviting. He let go of me, when he did I craved for his touch again. "Should we go dry off?"
We were sitting on his towel and just taking in this good summer night. I tried to hide the fact that I was shivering. It was a colder night and the water didn't help at all. "So, Laurel is having a book signing thing, I'm not really sure what it is, but you're supposed to dress up super fancy." He started, "My mom is making all of us go, even though it's probably going to be really boring." I snickered, he was most likely right.
"You should be my plus one." "If it's going to be boring why would I want to go?" I teased. "Because I will be there, in a suit may I add" "Oh wow! Of course I'll go then!" I said sarcastically and we shared a laugh. "I'll go with you though, but only if you pick me up." "I wouldn't have it any other way." He said finally looking at me.
His face filled with concern, "Are you cold?" "No, I'm good" I lie. "Here take this," he said taking his hoodie off, usually I would protest but I was freezing. I slipped it on, it was big on me, but I liked that. "Thanks." We gave each other a smile. I began to smell Jeres cologne, which was comforting to me. I am never giving this back to him.
A/N: Kind of another short one. But, I have good things in store for Kirsten and Jere.
Also, I want them to start filming the third season already!!! I need it.
