Quick disclaimer~ I talk about karts in this one I have no idea about how karting works, and I'm fully aware that most of the drivers I say wouldn't have been in the same championship but it goes with the story, so just go with. And we're pretending Charles never had the Justin Bieber haircut.

It's my birthday today, I know it's going to be different to all my other birthdays, the ones I had with dad.

But that didn't mean it couldn't be a good day.

My alarm went off at 8:00 and for once I didn't hit snooze. For the first time in ages I had actually slept really well. I blame that insanely comfy bed.

I got up and got in the shower. Morning showers are way better than evening showers they make me feel clean for the day and a bit of good music and singing can never put me in a bad mood. Particularly with this shower, it felt like drops of heaven being poured all over me. I washed my hair, and had to shave everything since I lived in my joggers for the past weeks.

Now stinking of watermelon, I put on one of my CDs and turned the speaker up, there was no neighbours to disturb with loud music, unlike my old flat.

I got dressed into a quite short leather black skirt with tights on underneath, then I got one of the Ferrari shirts and put it on, half tucking it in.

I went over to my desk that had a large Hollywood mirror on it. I finished unpacking the rest of my makeup/ skincare on one side and put all my pens and stuff on the other side. I never wear much face makeup because I hate the feeling. All I did on my face was a bit of blush and some gold highlight.

However I loved doing my eye makeup. It reminds of wearing sunglasses. I began by putting on a dark brown shadow on an angled brush, applying it on my eyelid near the lash line and blending it a bit so the line wasn't so harsh. I put a little bit on my bottom lashes, then got a black eye pencil and went over my waterline. I am awful at drawing wings, my hand always aggressively shakes when I try, so I've just comes to terms with the fact I won't be able to do it. Then I curled my eyelashes and put on my mascara, making sure to brush it out with a spoolie so it didn't look too clumped.

I made my way downstairs it was now 9:30 and I was getting increasingly hungry.

"Feliz cumpleanos, Estrella"

"Gracia" I said hugging him.

"You look gorgeous" He smiled reaching into the cupboard and pulling out a mug and a box of Yorkshire teabags.

"You read my mind" I sighed in relief, it sounds really British but tea is my fuel to get through the day.

I went into the fridge and pulled out the pineapple slices we bought yesterday, bringing them and my tea over to the table. I found a card and a few presents with a balloon .

"Well open them then" Fernando stated excitedly.

I opened the card closest to me and discovered that it was from Ben and Lola.

Dear Estrella,

We miss you so much already, Have a wonderful day little star.

Lots of love,                                                                                                                                                                                 Ben and Lola xx

The card was all written in Ben's messy handwriting apart from Lola's name which was written in pink and cursive.

The next card was from my old neighbour who was 80 but was very lovely, she used to watch me when I was younger if my dad needed to go shopping, there wasn't much written in the card but there was a few Euro in there. It was nice to know she remembered that I couldn't use pounds here.
