Chapter 4

"Oh for God's sake" they were all agreeing with Charles "Why would you do this to me?" I groaned making my way downstairs. I was formulating a plan in my head, it was bound to work.

When we got down there, I noticed that the 3 younger drivers had left, thankfully. I found Fernando by the drinks, my plan was working.

"Fernando" I said to him in a voice that made it sound like I wanted something "You know how I'm like your favourite niece"

"What do you want?" He said shortly.

"Well the boys are making sing karaoke, I was planning on Umbrella" His eyebrows lifted "You wouldn't make me do it all by myself would you?" 

"Yeah okay I'll do it with you" The plan was immaculate "But I'm doing Rihanna's bits you can do Jay-Z" 

"Fine by me" I put my hands up innocently.

When we walked past my mates I turned round to them, and did a silent celebration and put my middle fingers up at them all, they all thought I wouldn't be able to get Nando on board.

"Oi, shut up, I'm doing this for my niece, and that is the only reason" Fernando shouted.

"Play the music" I said to Max. I began doing Jay-Z's bit at the start, then Fernando continued to passionately sing to Rihanna's verse, he earned a few cheers from his friends.

"When the sun shines, we shine together " We sang the chorus together, with most of the room joining in. "You can stand under my umbrella -ella -ella"

When the song was over we both bowed, I gave him a hug and then went back to my friends.

"I hate you all, but you have to admit I'm amazing" I said sarcastically.

"I think he outdone you a bit there to be honest" Charles said back, I mean he wasn't wrong.

"Shut up pendejo" I hit in the back of the head.

By now the majority of people had left, since it was past midnight. But my friends were all staying, none of us were really tired, unlike Fernando who was on the verge of passing out. I got Pierre and Max to take him upstairs, because they were the tallest.

"What film are we gonna watch" Lando said having sat himself as close as possible to the flat screen.

"Well I have no idea how to work, apart from the DVD player, I think I have some DVDs up in my room" I suggested.

"Yeah ok, go get them" Lando instructed.

"Alright bossy" I went up to my room and found three films; Forrest Gump, the Green Mile and my favourite Mean Girls. 

"Right ok, you lot, I have two sad films and Mean Girls" I said displaying the films.

"Never seen it" They all said in unison.

"You've never seen Mean Girls?!" They all shook their heads "It's my favourite, no arguments we're watching it." I sped over to the player before they could protest and put it in.

I left it on the options screen so I could find some blankets, I gave them the four I found, then sat next to Charles who didn't have one and shared mine with him because it was double. 

"Right Lando, press play, you're closest" He got up and pressed the button.

Mean Girls always made me really excited so as soon as I heard Lindsay Lohan's voice, I started stimming. Charles noticed and grabbed my hand, interlocking our fingers. My insides were twisting and turning.

"My old best friend in school was autistic" He winked at me "Relax Etoile". He moved a little bit closer to me and I put my head on his shoulder.

My fingers kept doing the tappy thing on his leg but he didn't seem to mind.
