Chapter 27

A/N: I've had to include the whole grid in this one so just ignore how random the teams are ok. 

My alarm just went off, as excited as I am for today, it's so early and I'm so comfy. Lucky was still nuzzled into my neck as was Charles. It would be so easy to just go back to sleep but I can't do that. 

"Here you go Lucky" I picked her up and placed her on Charles' chest. He had woken up but, hadn't got up yet, he just rolled over. "I'm going to shower" I kissed Charles' forehead and went off. 

I was half asleep before my shower, it helped but not that much, I was going to stop at a coffee shop for my tea. I put my joggers on and one of Charles' shirts on, sticking my hair up in a messy bun. I had packed most of my stuff up the night before so all I had to do was collect up the final details and sort out the dog. 

"Charles get dressed, I'm going to go feed Lucky and let her out, you have ten minutes baby" I picked up Lucky off his chest, and slipped my crocs on to take her downstairs. I gave her a handful of her food and whilst she ate I got a bag of her stuff to bring with us today. I put her collar on and let her outside, she did both a number one and two, which I had to clean up.

When we went back inside, Charles was stood by the door next to the two bags we had to bring today and my heels in his hand. 

"You forgot these upstairs" He held them up and yawned. 

"Awh, well done, couldn't have done today in my crocs" He smiled giving me a kiss, I slipped on Lucky's harness and attaching her collar before we left. "Rebecca just text me, she's in a coffee shop down the road do you want one?" 

"Yes please" He got into the car, I was driving for once. I didn't like the idea of him being so tired and driving. He reclined his seat so he was lying down with Lucky on his chest. She had one of her bones that she was munching on. 

I was surprised Charles was so chill with me driving, normally he's sat there being the most annoying passenger ever. The track was only ten minutes away so it was pretty pointless him getting all comfy but I wasn't gonna break that to him. 

"We're here Charlie" I nudged him gently and picked Lucky up placing her on the ground outside. 

"You can go ahead I'll get the stuff, I'll meet you there" I nodded and walked away after giving him the keys.

Lucky had definitely woken up, she was trying to run across the paddock to my building, I went along with so we were running now. When we got there I picked her up and took her to Rebecca's office. 

"Howdy, I have a puppy, is she alright in here?" I stuck my head through the door, Rebecca and Angelina were both in there. 

"Of course I've been dying to meet her since you said you were getting a dog" Rebecca smiled brightly. 

"You alright Angelina?" I looked at her. 

"Better now Brett's gone for good" She did a little celebration.

"Sorry for sending him down to you guys all the time by the way, but he's gone for good?" They both nodded. 

"I have a feeling you might know something about his broken jaw" I handed her Lucky and sat on the sofa. 

"No, it could never have been a certain red bull driver" I said sarcastically.

"Never thought F1 media would think of Kimi 2.o as a blessing but here we are" Angelina added, making us all laugh. Max often made our jobs difficult with his outspokenness. 

"Can you guys tell me who our special guest is now, I mean I'm gonna have to host along side them" 

"Nope, not until he gets here" Rebecca shrugged. "Speaking of, what are you wearing?"
