Chapter 67

It felt criminal to even watch Daniel eat all three of these ice creams I didn't ask what flavours they were but I don't think I want to know, Maya kept laughing at his expressions when he takes a bite. 

Maya had just been allowed to have an account on Instagram, she had the biggest flex of having multiple F1 drivers and my humble presence following her back, I got my whole friend group and now Danny and Heidi to follow her back. She took a cute selfie with all of us in eating ice cream, she posted it with a cutesy caption I, the caption yoda, helped her craft. 

We'd been by the sea for nearly two hours at this point when we stopped at the supermarket for sleepover goodies. I basically told Maya to go crazy, her being the not so crazy individual she is, handed me a packet of sweets and said that's al she wanted. I rolled my eyes and took myself to the sweets aisle, picking out all the best ones as well as popcorn and some crisps I know we both like and my ruffles. 

I bought her three breezers, whilst Daniel was doing the same as me getting loads of stuff he's never tried, most of it being the fanta and alcohol. 

He drove us home after that, I quickly changed the sheets on Maya's bed then collected all the blankets from around the house dumping them on the sofa for a movie night. We all sat down and got comfy along with Lucky, choosing to snuggle into my chest preventing my breathing, but I feel mean if I move my first baby, so I let her stay. 

We chose a film that Maya had never watched, Forrest Gump, I was so shocked when she said she'd never watched it, I didn't even wait for approval from the other two. I love Tom Hanks, so she has to watch arguably his most iconic movie ever, otherwise we can't be associated. 

I gave her one of the breezers, jealous as hell I couldn't join her and Danny,  I was constantly reminding myself of the life in my stomach.

I cried when Bubba dies obviously, I do every damn time, then I cry at the end, every damn time. But the film just gets better every time. After it was finished, I figured it was best we all went to bed, Danny and Heidi were likely jetlagged, and I love my sleep. I placed a glass of water on Mayas bedside table, gave her a hug and left her to bed. I let her have my Lucky, so I was in bed all by myself, I haven't slept like this in so long, it was freaky, I decided to phone Charles, who was coming home tomorrow. 

"Bonjour mon amour, I miss you" I smiled when his face appeared on my screen.

"I miss you too, I'm so glad you're coming back tomorrow, I'm taking Maya and Heidi into the city so Danny will come pick you up I think" I told him. 

"Is Maya staying?"

"Yeah, apparently Elena is being annoying so I let her stay" 

"Nice, I spoke to Oscar and he said one of his friends saw Elena out with a group of boys apparently" 

"Oh God, Mani will go ballistic" we both smirked. 

"Okay my love, I better go, I've got a flight to catch in the morning, I'll see you then" He kissed the phone as did I, saying all the I love yous and what not, I felt slightly more comforted and I was able to fall asleep quite quickly. 

I woke up to the sound of the coffee machine whirring downstairs, I knew it would be Daniel because Heidi  is being crazy healthy with her baby, avoiding all caffeine. 

"Good morning" I said in a sing song tune, making myself a cup of tea next to him. 

"Morning, sleep well?" 

"Yeah not too bad" I yawned "Et toi?" 

"Alright, Heidi kept kicking me in her sleep though" I smirked a bit before going to check on Maya, she was awake , with her phone and Lucky on her chest.
