His arm over my shoulders. My hand in his. It felt normal, like it was meant to be.
He led me down to the lobby, there was almost no one there apart from a few stragglers. I was scared there would be a paparazzi brigade down here, particularly after Charles' little comments on live TV earlier.
"Were you watching?" He asked as we walked through the lobby.
"Yeah, I was" I looked up at him "Lucky Star, obvious much"
"That was the point" He went over to valet taking his keys, the SF-90 waiting for us directly outside the hotel.
"But we're not even like dating in private yet, why would you hint it to the whole world" He opened my car door like a gentleman, then going over to his side.
"I was mainly thinking about the fact you would see it" He put the keys into ignition, turning the car on "Not so much about any one else"
"How sweet" I teased as his hand fell to my thigh.
He began driving out of the hotel car park, once we were on the road he put the roof down on the car down. They sky was beautiful, stars speckled all over. The breeze blowing through my hair, it made me feel free.
He pulled up to this posh restaurant, it was grand and looked as though it'd been there for a while.
"Reservation for Leclerc" He told the waiter on the door, who didn't even check the computer in front of him, leading us through the restaurant. He stopped at a secluded table in the back corner, away from everyone else.
"I'll be back in a moment to take your orders" The waiter hurried off, leaving us.
"You really have out done yourself Charlie" He pulled out my chair, pushing it back in once I was sat.
"You just wait" He wiggled his eyebrows.
"Oh jeez, I'm scared" He just smirked, opening up the menu. I only just noticed how I hadn't eaten all day.
I was reading through the front of the menu, panicking as I had no clue what anything was. Charles noticed my face of confusion, taking my menu and flipping it revealing the less posh Spanish dishes.
"Thank fuck for that, what is foie gras?" He started laughing at my question.
"It's the liver of a goose or a duck" I turned my nose up.
"I had it in my head it was some French grass" I carried on reading through the stuff I knew.
"I personally think it's rank" He smirked again "What are you gonna get?"
"If we're doing tapas, we've gotta do it right and just get some of everything" I shrugged, knowing he would agree.
"Do you want prawns?" He said after we decided on getting a few other things.
"Only if you peel them"
"Ok then" He shrugged "So that's, padrons, calamari, croquetas, patatas bravas and prawns"
"Yeah, but when they ask let me say it" His Spanish accent was so awful.
"Whatever" He rolled his eyes "What did you lot do at the pool earlier?"
"I hate pool water, the chlorine kills me off, so Kelly, Mark and I were all just sat on the sunbeds chatting away" I giggled slyly, the memory of what Kelly said coming to my head. "What's the happs at the paddock?"
"Nothing much, it's boring when your not there" I raised my eyebrows "I spoke to that Brett as well today"
"What did you say?"
