Annkoto - Chapter 3: You Two Are Cute

Yesterday, Makoto suggested that the Phantom Thieves should meet up today, June 22nd.
They all meet in their current hideout, which is located in the Shibuya area. Makoto discusses strategy, and the rest of the team is listening to her intently, she's a very useful addition to the Phantom Thieves.
Once they enter the metaverse, Ren puts Makoto on the front lines with Ryuji, Ann and himself. So the current team is Joker, Skull, Panther and Queen. This is their third palace infiltration, besides Makoto and Yusuke of course, so they've really got the swing of things. Makoto's able to keep up with the others quite well, but is still in awe with how professional the Phantom Thieves look, less so Ryuji but still she can tell that they're very experienced at this point.
After a long day, they've secured the route to the treasure and head back to their own reality.

The next day they decided to send the calling card, since it's better to be safe and change Kaneshiro's heart early.
On the 24th the Phantom Thieves confront Kaneshiro's shadow, and steal his treasure. Afterwards they go to Leblanc to see if they could open the golden briefcase, Kaneshiro's treasure.

Makoto: "I knew it!"

Yusuke: "How did you-"

Makoto: "I had seen him open it so many times, I memorized the code."

Ryuji: "That's scary.. but awesome!" *looks down* "Hoooly sh*t! Is this for real?!"

Yusuke: "Each stack is one million yen..."

Ann: "Is that 30 million yen?!"

Makoto: "Even if we split it, it's still 5 million yen each..."

Yusuke: "Sorry to ruin the mood but does this look like real money to you?"

Ryuji: *dies of disappointment* "nooooooooo"

Ren: "The briefcase is probably worth something."

Morgana: "That should give an exceptional price at the pawn shop."

Ryuji: "True I guess..."

Ann: "Well hey, at least it feels like we totes busted this case right?"

Makoto: "What do you mean? Is busting a case good or bad?"

Ann: "Both!"

Makoto: *giggles* "Ahahahahaha", "To think the reward for the Phantom Thieves is feeling they 'totes busted' this case. Ah how funny!"

Ann: "Well that, and think about how many kids from Shujin we saved!"

Makoto: "We did a really good thing didn't we."

Ryuji: "Hell yeah we did!"

Makoto: "I don't know why I ever doubted the Phantom Thieves in the past, we can save so many lives this way, including..."

Makoto starts to frown and look downwards, she's thinking about Sae.

Ann: "...You okay, Makoto-senpai"

Makoto: "Yes I'm fine, sorry no need to worry about me... and Ann why do you still refer to me as senpai?"

Ann: "Oh, I'm just so used to it is all, I'll do my best to sto-"

Makoto: "No it's fine, call me whatever you're comfortable with."

Ann: "Okay! Ahaha"

Makoto giggles alongside her.

Ryuji whispers to Ren: "Those two have gotten really close haven't they? It's surprising seeing how angry Ann was at her before all this."

Ren: "It's good that they've gotten closer."

Ryuji: "Yeah, it's cool."

It's early morning on the 26th at the train station.
