Annkoto - Chapter 23: Are You Ready Honey?

Author's Note: The hardest thing about writing this fanfic so far is keeping track of the dates in the actual P5R to keep it as close to canon as possible (what i get for not making it a more distinct AU) but keeping track of that has literally been the main reason for me procrastinating this series (well also college but yeah) Anyways! I'm going to not stress too much about the dates from now on.

Makoto's at Ann's house getting ready for their double date with Ren and Akechi. They all decided that Saturday night would be the best time, choosing the 13th since next weekend would be the supposed "Cleanse".

Ann and Makoto had just finished getting ready, and now stood in the hallway next to the front door.

Makoto: "I really didn't expect you to be ready so soon Ann."

Ann: "I'm sorry I just like to jump into things when I'm finally ready, are you ready honey?~"

Makoto: "I- I still can't get used you calling me that all of the sudden!"

Ann: "Oh really? And how's this for good measure?~"

Ann kisses Makoto's cheek, causing her cheeks to go bright pink and get all flustered.

Makoto: "Ann... if you keep doing this I'm going to start getting ideas~"

Ann: "And what might those be?~"

Makoto: "Want me to show you?~"

Ann: "I wouldn't mind a demonstration~"

Makoto walks up behind Ann, then gently slides her palms up Ann's arms before grabbing hold of her shoulders. She then then kisses the back of Ann's neck, visible between her signature pig tails.

Ann: "Mmm, when did you learn how to do this?~"

Makoto: "Studying~"

She turns Ann around and backs her up against the wall. The lights seemed to grow dim, except for the one right above them. A spotlight, a show only they attended, where they were the lead roles.

Ann: "Keep going~"

Makoto kisses her, how long had she waited for this moment? A measly peck wouldn't do this moment justice, she had to go all the way. And so their first kiss turned into a full-on makeout session.

...

They break away for a moment.

Makoto: "Ann I love you~"

 Ann: "I love you too Makoto~ I love you so much~"

Makoto: "How long have I wanted to hear those words, I feel like I could cry, I-"

(...)

Ann: "Makoto?"

Makoto: "Hngh... Huh?"

Ann: "Makoto are you okay? You've been making all these mumbly noises and... you even started crying..."

Makoto: "I- I fell asleep..?!"

Ann: "I finished getting ready for tonight in the bathroom, and when I came out you had dozed off on the couch I think. I let you sleep because we had a little while until the boys would get here, but then you started crying... is everything okay?"
