Annkoto: Chapter 7: Good Feeling Ain't It?

The date is Sunday, July 3rd. Makoto and Ann haven't talked since the 30th. They have glanced at each other at school from time to time, each of them trying to be as subtle as possible. They both think they've been sly enough to not get caught staring, but they're also both very aware of what each other's doing. Needless to say it has been awkward.
Even in the Phantom Thieves group chat, all of their messages have been strictly business, no playful banter like they would have normally. The rest of the team has noticed but hasn't said anything.
When Ann eventually wakes up at about noon, she decides that she wants to go to the gym today. She would try to develop a routine to stay fit and fulfill her promise to herself. She looks at her contacts wondering who she should go with.

Ann thinks to herself: (I can't let this excess motivation go to waste!)
As she scrolls and hesitates over the name Makoto Nijima, she feels a significant portion of her motivation drained out of her.
Ann quickly scrolls down to find Ren's name. She decides to call him.

Ren picks up his phone.

Ann: "Hey Ren! How's gooooing."

Ren: "Hey Ann, how are you?"

Ann: "I'm doing great just great, uhm so how do you feel about going to the gym with me? I've been meaning to work on my fitness so I can become a better model..."

Ren: "I'm sorry Ann, but I'm out with Makoto today."

Ann: "Oh... I- I mean Oh! How nice! I hope you two have so much fun byeeeeee!"
Ann hangs up.

Makoto: "Who was that?"

Ren: "It was Ann."

Makoto: "A- Ann? How was she?"

Ren: "She said she was doing great."

Makoto: "Great huh... I mean, that's wonderful to hear."

Ann looks back at her contacts list and see's Ryuji's name right under Ren's. She decides to call him since he's like an athlete, or ex-athlete rather.

Ryuji: "Yo. Ann?"

Ann: "Ryuji heyyyyy. So, I wanted to ask if you wanted to go to the gym in Shibuya with me."

Ryuji: "You want to go to the gym with me?"

Ann: "...yes"

Ryuji: "Why?"

Ann: "Just say yes or no please."

Ryuji: "Just us two?"

Ann: "Ugh yes, so do you wanna come or not?"

Ryuji: "Sure thing. I'll see you there."
He hangs up.

Ann: (Ugh he's so weird... I guess that was strange for me to ask so randomly though.)

Ann arrives at the gym in Shibuya. Ryuji's there waiting for her.

Ryuji: "Sup."

Ann: "Hey."

Ryuji: "So what were you plannin' to do?"

Ann: "I want to get fit so I can improve as a model. I don't just wanna slim down though, I need to bulk up too."

Ryuji: "So that was your reason for coming hereeee."

Ann: "Mhm! Actually could I talk to you about something?"

Ryuji: "Okay, go ahead."

Ann: "So there was this girl named Mika who showed up to my photoshoot in the park-"

Ryuji: "Wait wait wait. So when you say Mika, do you mean this Mika?" He pulls out a magazine with Mika on the front cover from seemingly his back pocket, but it really doesn't look like it would have fit back there.
