Investigating A Haunted Mansion

Several months had passed for Jay after he joined The 1st Militia. Keeping up with his Jedi Training, he helped drilled the unit to keep up their strength and boost morale. Although he took part in some assignments given by The Jedi Council, his first major assignment came in the month of November. They were called upon by Fort Polk's Commander, General Alvin Gordon Rhodes, to investigate an old, and haunted, mansion two miles from New Orleans and five miles from The Bayou. At first, Jay found it strange. He thought 'When did we go from Soldiers to Paranormal Investigators?' Jay did some research on mansion. He read that mansion was once belong to the family called 'The Gracey's'. The Mansion was built in 1787. William Gracey and his family came from New York and settled in the Louisiana territory in 1783. They begin to build their mansion in 1784 and was It was completed in 1787. The Mansion and the family was saved by two wars; the War of 1812 and The American Civil War. Having been spared the Battle of New Orleans in January of 1815 & later The Civil War's Capture of New Orleans from April to May 1862. After The Civil War, Edward Gracey, a Veteran from the Civil War, inherit the mansion after his father, George Gracey, died. On November 12th, 1881, While he was hosting a masquerade in his mansion, he discovered that his fiancée, Elizabeth Henshaw, has written a suicide note. He desperately searches for her throughout the mansion before it is too late. Unfortunately, on the stroke of midnight, Master Gracey discovers the lifeless body of Elizabeth in the library. Depressed and heartbroken, he tried to contact Elizabeth via séance by Madame Leota. After many attempts, they failed. In order to be with Elizabeth, Edward hangs himself. However, the séance attracted the evil spirit of Alistair Crump who wrote to Edward under the guise of Elizabeth, who manipulated him into hanging himself. Alistair then began enacting his plan to perform a dark ritual that requires 1,000 souls. The mansion fell into disrepair, abandonment and now filled with ghosts all over the world and trapped by an evil curse. This history intrigued Jay.

On November 8th, 2017, The 1st Pennsylvania and the 114th Regiment departed to Louisiana and arrived at Fort Polk, named after The 11th President of The United States, James K. Polk. The troops of the 1st Pennsylvania and 114th were greeted by the commander, set up their tents and began training. While the troops train, Jay was listening to the radio, listening what's going on in the U.S. Congress and the progress of the Clone Wars. For the Republic, Droid General Grievous's flagship, The Malevolence, was destroyed by Republic Forces. Under the command of Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan, they engaged Separatists Forces in battle on the planet of Christophsis. He learned that Anakin has an apprentice named Ahsoka Tano, Master Kenobi has an apprentice named Keeve Lyon and Alex Lyon has an apprentice named Siri Tasao. He also learned that Bullseye and Hera have been knighted and were sent to the battlefield. He learned from Congress that they are in talks will allowing, and creating, Clone Troopers in The U.S. Armed Forces. After listening, he left to go train.

On the early morning hours of the ninth, The 1st Militia moved out to Gracey Mansion while the 114th stayed behind and secured the fort for protection. On the march, the men began to questions about the mansion. They wonder what they will find inside. They also wonder about the stories that surround the mansion. They heard of a tale of a headless horseman that galloped around the ground the mansion, a black widow bride that killed five of her husbands, a pirate used to lived in the mansion until he hung himself and even a powerful psychic that conjures spirits; And they believe their ghosts haunt the grounds. Before Jay could comment to the men, he sensed something ahead of them, he signal the unit to halt and kneel. General Lyons turned to Jay and ask "What did you sense?" "Someone, or something, is ahead of us." Jay replied "Whatever is it, I think it's armed." General Lyons told Colonel Johnathon Lyons to order the men to fix bayonets and form a firing line. He also told him to bring the clones up and form flanks around the men. The order was carried out as Jay unclipped his lightsabers from his belt and held them in his hands. Then, they heard the sound of footsteps ahead of them. The men leveled their rifles and took steady aim. None of them said a word. Then, they see the silhouette of a women, resembling Tsunade through the morning fog. Jaysuki slowly lowered his weapon and said in confusion "Lady Tsunade?" At the moment, the mysterious woman drew her sword and attacked. Once she came to The 1st Militia's line, she grabbed Jaysuki, causing him to dropped his gun, and pinned him to the ground and held her sword at his throat. "How do you know her name?" She asked, demanding an answer. Before she could go on, a purple blade appeared next to her and aimed at her neck. "Release my friend." Jay ordered. "If you want keep your head." Little did Jay and the mysterious woman know that with help of Jay's lightsaber burn off the mist, revealing The Hidden Leaf Crest. This took the mysterious woman by surprise. She had pinned, and almost killed, a Hidden Leaf Shinobi. She tilted her head up and looked at The Men of the 1st, rifles leveled with bayonets fixed & blasters aimed at her. Loosening her grip and slowly returning her sword, she stood up, faced the men and apologizes for her actions. She had mistaken the 1st Militia for Separatist Forces. General Lyons accepted her apology and ask for her name. In response to Lyons's request, The Tsunade look alike turned around and introduced herself as Captain Kaori Senju, the cousin of Tsunade Senju. This caught the men by surprise. Jay, in particular, examine Kaori. She looks like Lady Tsunade with orange hair, similar hairstyle as Tsunade's, brown eyes, wearing a gray shirt, untucked, naval blue pants, & wearing an open Union Junior officer's frock coat, with a infantry captain insignia. At her waist, is an Civil War Officer's waist belt and an 1850's officer's sword. It was said she got the officer's coat, waist belt and sword at a Civil War Reenactment in Virginia. What Jay learned that Kaori came to America by the orders of The Higher Ups of the Hidden Leaf and joined The U.S. Army. General Lyons explained to Captain Senju that they are on a mission by the president to investigate a haunted house. Being generous, Lyons asked her to join his unit and help out. She agreed to help out until Lyons can figure out what to do with her. He learned that she served as an officer at VMI, Virginia Military Institute. The 1st Pennsylvania reformed their ranks and continued towards The Gracey Mansion.
