Some time has pasted since Phantom's death. Both Leyla and Sakura's Jedi training are coming along well since they were out of the cloning tubes. Shaak Ti is teaching them well. She said they could reach the level of a Jedi Knight. A few of the U.S. Clone Troops Cloning Facility were finished being constructed and began producing more clones, both for The U.S. and The Republic. Hera, who finished her Jedi training, arrived on Earth and joined the 1st Pennsylvania and Earth's Jedi Order. The Onderonian Civil War ended in a Rebel Victory. Darth Maul was found alive on Lotho Minor by Savage Oppress. The Nightsisters of Dathomir was all but extinct following a decisive C.I.S. victory. For Jay and his comrades, Things have been quiet. The Ninja World was dealing a threat of their own, The Akatsuki; who are on the verge of capturing all the Jinchūriki. During that time, Jay took Mollbry on their first date and, as promised, took her to see Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of The Opera. She loved the performance. It was also is first time to Phantom. Jay would say, in a journal entry, "I had a wonderful time with her and have been with a woman so beautiful".
Jay was mediating with Mollbry, his sisters, and his apprentice when he heard a familiar voice from weeks ago, when he was in the bacta tank. The voice was none other then Master Qui Gon Jinn who told him to go to Dagobah. Later that day, Jay told Mollbry, his sisters and his friends that he will be on a trip, to travel the galaxy. He'll let them know when he will return. He remembered what Qui Gon said "Speak of this to no one."; referring to his training Qui Gon has for him. He told them that he will contact them when he comes home. He placed Alex in charge in his place and Keeve to over see Britt's Jedi Training. While Jay was packing his starfighter, Mollbry came up to see him off. Back on Coreilla, before facing Phantom, Jay shared a quick kiss, as a token of good luck. Now, she did the same before Jay left. That caught Jay off guard and asked her what was that for. She replied, with a smile "Just because.". She happily turned her heel and made her to the doorway, to see Jay off. He got finished pack his Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor. His recently purchased, and most faithful companion, R5-P76, to who he nicknamed Sev, boarded the ship. Jay soon followed and took off. Plotting a course for Dagobah, his fighter went into lightspeed.
Exiting out of Hyperspace, Jay arrived at Dagobah, just as Qui Gon instructed. He told Sev to stay with the ship while he finds a clearing to meditate. While he was meditating, he was greet by The Voice of Qui Gon Jinn. "Master Qui Gon?" Jay asked, opening his eyes. "Is this really you?" "It is." Qui Gon replied. Jay remembered the time in the bacta tank and seeing Qui Gon and Jeffian at the Jedi Temple in a place where there is no future or past. "So, I wasn't in some crazy dream I had?" Jay asked again "No, my friend. No." Qui Gon said, reassuring him. "Then, why have you brought me here?" "Follow the light." He replied, as he appeared in the form of fireflies. "The light will be your guide." Getting up, Jay did what he was told to do as he climbed over, or under, roots and moved vines out of the way to follow the fireflies. Along the way, Qui Gon explained to Jay how he is communicating with him. He is a manifestation of the Force, which consists of two parts. "With this power, are you and Jeffian able to show yourself as you did in my vision?" Jay ask, remembering his time in the bacta tank. "Neither of us can not." He replied "Our training were incomplete." Stopping at small tree, where the fireflies landed, Jay asked him if he could see the future and who the Sith Lord Is. Qui Gon led him to a cave, called the Cave of Evil, to where the answers were revealed. Once inside, Jay was engulfed in a dark fog where he saw the terrible visions. Clone Troopers turning against their generals and killing them, hooded Sith Lord slaughtering the Jedi and his master being electrocuted by the same hooded Sith Lord. All while hearing voices of the past, present and future crying out. Then, the fog around Jay turn blood red and, from the fog, the same hood Sith appeared, saying the name Sidious. "Join me." He said, as a crimson red of a lightsaber ignited "There is no other way." As the visions come to an end, Jay stumbled out of the cave, horrified. As Qui Gon rouses him, Jay asks when the Sith will enact their plans. Qui Gon says that with each day the Clone War goes on and on, evil feeds off it. He asks Qui Gon how can the Jedi hope to survive what is to come. Qui Gon assures him that there's always hope, but it often comes in unexpected forms that are hard to see. Qui Gon instructs Jay to travel to the Origin of All-Life in the galaxy where he will be guided in the next part of his training to retain his identity after death. Jay then returns to his starfighter and departs Dagobah and on to his next stop.
