Several weeks after investigating Gracey Mansion, But the events of what they saw still played on their minds. Jay, after the mansion, became a true believer of the paranormal. After receiving the news that Gracey Mansion was bought by a national trust, He was pleased that the mansion is being preserved. He also heard The U.S. Congress has agreed to vote in favor to have Clone Troopers, both male and female, in The U.S. Military. They will also help sending Clone Troopers to help turn the tide in The Republic's favor. After turning off the news, Jay collected his lightsabers and left to go train. While outside, he sharping up on his lightsaber skills, in case he was dispatched by the Jedi Council. After he finished training, He received a visitor. He was about to enter the fort until he was stop by Sergeant Jackson. He was accompanied by a 20 year old Padawan by his side. She had short dark brown hair with a Padawan Braid. She wore a dark khaki tunic with gray gauntlets and wore black pants with light brown boots. She has a fine complexion with brown eyes. She bowed said "Hello there, my name is Britt Winnwale. I am assigned to you to be my master and to oversee My Jedi training." At first, Jay was surprised about this sudden change. Seeing the eagerness in her, Jay took her on as my student. Minutes later, he taught Britt the in's and out's of being a Jedi and The Force. Jay trained her in the style his master did and Master Obi Wan and Anakin did before meeting Senator Amidala. He was careful not to train in Vaapad, Form VII, until the time was right.
Several Days in into Britt's Training, Jay took her on their first assignment together. They were dispatched to Felucia, after hearing reports of survivors from the First Battle of Felucia. They were accompanied by First Sergeant Lyonsaki, who volunteered to come along, Delta Squad, Omega Squad & Detachments of Howzer's unit and 241st Battalion, commanded by Jedi General Leelomi Oma-ki and Zusho Battalion. Once they landed, Zusho Battalion and the Commandos, with Britt in tow, fanned out and scan the terrain. Jay, with a company of troopers, commanded by Captain Kizo, went on a head to map out the terrain with Jedi Master Oma-ki and company of the 241st Battalion lead by Captain Tukk. The terrain, among the Fungai, was litter with dead clone troopers, dead battle droids and destroyed machinery on the scorched, burnt ground. He would say in his journal that it was 'A strange, melancholy site after the conflict is ended. As you walk over it, some strange curiosity impels you examine the fallen and the nature of their wounds.' As they walk along the grounds, the bodies of friend and foe lie were they fell and often lie mixed indiscriminately. A little further on, they found them scattered as they arrived on broken ground with broken machinery. Some clones and droids fell instantly. Jay stopped and gaze around the grounds, counting forty dead clone bodies, both male and female, on one spot where the struggle was the most warm. Two clones called his attention to a heartbreaking and tear-jerker moment. These troops belong to The 501st Legion. Getting on one knee, Jay looked at one male Clone Trooper lied against a destroyed AT-TE Walker, being shot in the heart. Next to him, a female Clone Trooper, who was shot three times crawled to her fallen brother and grasped his hand as she died. The scene Jay saw would move anyone to tears, seeing a life taken. Further up the road and they came across an area that bare a resemblance to Timothy H. O'Sullivan's photo called 'The Harvest of Death' at Gettysburg. To Jay, he couldn't help but feel sorry for these brave troopers of The Republic, who gave their lives in service of the Republic and the freedom they are fighting for. Again, he got to one knee and gave a moment of silence to honor the fallen. Just then, Sergeant Boss, came in through the com channels, reporting that they found the survivors are found alive. Private Scorch reported that they counted 40 troops; 20 of them have been wounded, but can still walk. They were taken in by Captain Howzer's unit to give them food, water and treatment. For those that have serious wounds, they were taken to a Republic medical station, a Haven-class medical station, for surgery. Again, he couldn't help but feel sorry for those troops and pray they get the help they need. But, something tells me that those troops will live to fight another day. Among those who were wounded was the younger brother of a Republic Army Commander. He lost his right leg and left arm to an artillery shell. Jay congratulated him for his service and wished him the best of luck for his treatment and hope to see him in future engagements.
When Jay and his team arrived on Coruscant, Both Oma-ki reported to The Jedi Council on what happened on Felucia. They congratulated them for a job well done. On their way back to the ship, Jay visited some clones at The Republic Military Base. Among the clones he visited, he saw Commander Ponds, who had survived in injuries after being capture by Aurra Sing and couple of Bounty Hunter on a mission to Kill Mace Windu. Ponds survived without his right eye and was treated in case he suffered brain damage during his captivity. Little did Jay know, that Ponds had his Inhibitor Chip removed to prevent brain damage; thus saving him from a curel fate. He told him that Echo, Fives, Hevy, Jiyu, Safiyah, Violet & Faye have been promoted the rank of ARC Troopers, following a victory on Kamino, which was under attack by the Separatists. Jay was pleased to hear this news. He asked Ponds the next time if he see them to congratulate them on their promotion and wish them the best of luck on their journey. Finding Britt, who as gazing at the Coruscantian Skyline, Jay walked up to here and congratulated her for a job well done on Felucia. Deep down, he sensed her being uneasy. Since Felucia, she was shown the horrors of war and the aftermath of a battle. "We must adjust to the time." Jay said, assuring her. "Sometimes in war, it's hard to survive." "Is it?" Britt asked. "I'm worried that I would make mistakes on the battlefield." "As Jedi, it's our job to lead; and to survive. As your master, I'm doing just that to you." Jay said. "Just because we lead, doesn't mean we don't make mistakes." "But, what if those who want to stop fighting?" She asked, facing him. "If they stop fighting, they will die." He replied. Britt knew Jay was right. If she is going to fight in this war, she will have to learn to lead, survive and fight like her master. After all, she is the apprentice of Jay Lyon and she will learn to do all three of them in order to win this war.
Once Arriving back on Earth, Jay and Britt return to Fort America. He reported to General Lyons about his mission. After Reporting to General Lyons, Jay took Britt to his quarters to turn in for the night. Deep down, Jay and Britt have a bright future together as Master and Student.
