Prem just wanted to scream. He missed Ten so much, but they promised to keep a distance. He stared at his phone, lying carelessly on the table, tempting him to pick it up and call his boyfriend. He touched the cold device, thinking. Technically, texting Ten wouldn't break the promise as long as he wouldn't hear his deep, caring voice. And before he could stop himself, he was typing and sending a message to his beloved doctor.

A simple "I miss you." And it made his heart beat like crazy. What if Ten won't replay? What if he doesn't miss him? Prem slammed his head against the tabletop, groaning. His head was spinning with worries. His phone made a familiar beep, pulling Prem out of the spiralling. With shaky fingers, he unlocked the screen and tapped on the message.

"I miss you too, cook."

Prem's heart skipped a beat. He jumped on his bed with a happy squeak, rolling from side to side on the mattress, holding the phone close to his chest. The short answer from Ten suddenly made everything better again.
