Secret (shinsoukoku)

Chapter 4

Kyoka was watching some anime when she heard Atsushi run to the bathroom and later throw up. Because she was worried, she stopped whatever she was watching on the tv and quickly went to the weretiger. She grabbed a hair clip and put it in Atsushi's hair so it's a bit easier to throw up without hair being in the way.

After a while, he finally got away from the toilet and Kyoka brought him water.

„Are you okay?" She asks and Atsushi nods. He thanks her for the cup of water and drinks it all, then puts the cup on the floor.

„Y-Yeah, I'm fine. It was probably just food poisoning. I noticed that one of the creams we bought was already overdated, but I wanted to eat it anyways so we wouldn't have to throw it out. But I guess that was a mistake. But don't worry, I was planninng on buying more food later" Atsushi smiles and shows Kyoka that he's okay. She's a bit hesitant about letting him leave the house, because when Atsushi stands up he almost falls down, but he quickly leans against the wall.

Kyoka watches how Atsushi walks to the kitchen and finds their monet for groceries, then turns around.

„Do you want something from the shop?" He asks but Kyoka shakes her head. They need to save up money.

The weretiger nods.

„Alright. I'll be back in a few minutes" He says and leaves the apartement. From the window Kyoka observes her new caretaker and is prepared to help him in case he falls down, but the tiger probably improved his immune system again. After he's out of sight, she goes back to watching her series.

When Atsushi comes back, Kyoka only hears him throw the bags into the kitchen and then run to the bathroom. She slowly stands up and stretches her arms, then goes to the kitchen to unpack all the food Atsushi bought.

There were a few ramen packs, some fruits and vegetables and also one bar of chocolate. Kyoka was surprised by it since Atsushi rarely bought any sweets, but opened the bar and ate a piece.

She heard the water flush since the walls were so thin and started putting the pizza Atsushi bought into the fridge.

She finished unpacking pretty fast, in about five minutes, and then went back to watching anime. She knew Atsushi was still in the bathroom because the doors were closed, but she didn't think much of it. She put her head on the pillow and started eating some more chocolate. She put on the 5th Hunter x Hunter episode and started watching it.

Right after finishing it, she heard sobs coming from the bathroom.

She slowly stood up. At first she thought that it was just her mind playing tricks on her, but then anoter sob came. It was as if Atsushi was trying to be quiet, but wasn't doing a very good job at it.

Kyoka was her way soundlessly to the bathroom and tried to open the door. Then, the sobs stopped and she heard paper being ripped. Atushi was probably drying his eyes so Kyoka wouldn't notice he was crying.

The weretiger opens the door. Kyoka only notices the red eyes and a weird plastic thing in one of his pockets, but she can't get a clear look at it. The weretiger immediately runs out and locks himself in his room.

Ever since that day, Kyoka started worrying about the weretiger more and more. She was scared something happened to him.
