Secret (shinsoukoku)

Chapter 22

When Atsushi wakes up again, he's in the bath. Warm water surrounds his body and he slowly opens his eyes.

He slowly opens his eyes and sees his husband, washing him.

"Ryuu?" He asks and yawns. The diablo's eyes and his stare at each other and Akutagawa reaches out his hand to caress Atsushi's cheek and then kisses him.

„Sorry, I undressed you without warning but I wanted to clean you up and you fell asleep right before I could ask you. I just wanted you to feel fresh once you wake up" Atsushi's boyfriend says.

...no. Not boyfriend.

Husband.

„Don't worry, I'm not mad. I'm happy you care for me so much" Atsushi says with a smile and pulls Akutagawa towards him by the collar. He kisses him passionately and later jokingly splashes him with water.

The diablo glares at him for a bit and then splashes him back. And so, the water battle starts and at the end of it, Atsusi has achieved his goal: to make his husband wet too.

"How am I supposed to go to work with these clothes?" Akutagawa asks in resignation and Atsushi laughs. He stands up from the bath and the diablo glances at his naked body before blushing and looking at his husband's face again.

"Tell them you're sick. We just got married!" Atsushi says with a smile and the diablo sighs but nods.

„Okay. But try not to accidentally fall on the ground while leaving the bath because the floor is a bit slippery" Akutagawa says and finally leaves the bathroom.

Atsushi watches him and grabs a towel, then dries himself off. He looks at the clothes that his husband left him on the small table and smiles affectionately, happy Akutagawa already thought of everything.

When he leaves the room, the first thing he does is head to Kasumi's room. He slowly knocks on the door and then opens it.

"Kasumi" He whispers and hears a rustle coming from her bed, then a yawn.

"Daddy?" She asks and Atsushi comes over to her. He leans down and caresses her hair out of her face.

"It's 8 already. I hope you were sleeping well, but now we have to wake up and get you ready for your first day of school" Atsuhi says in a soothing and comforting voice and Kasumi's silent for a few seconds but then energetic the next.

"It's today? Really?" She asks and Atsuhi nods. She starts giggling and gets out of her bed. It's still dark inside so the weretiger turns on the light and Kausmi's eyes hurt a bit but she quickly gets used to the glow. Atsushi hands her her clothes, a cute pink set with hello kitty on it (she picked it out herself and was very proud of it) and helps her put it on.

"Now only breakfast and you're ready!" Atsushi tells her and together they walk into the kitchen where Akutagawa's finished to make boiled eggs.

"Papa, did you hear? I'm going to school today!" Kasumi says with excitement and runs over to him to hug him. She notices the ring on his finger, the ring Atsuih gave him yesterday when they were saying oaths and she smiles.

"You are? That's so great, Kasumi. But remember, be a good student, okay?" The diablo says as he's taking the eggs out and putting them in three separate bowls. He uses Rashomon to carry them all at once and puts them all on the table.

Kasumi eats quickly and even Atsushi is struggling to keep up with her speed. She finishes before him and puts her shoes on.

"Papa, do you know where my bag is?" She asks, knowing her daddy probably doesn't know and the diablo nods.
