Chapter is 7k words SO FAR, I didn't finish it, but I'm really damn close, I've written at least 1k words per day since ADFB 24's release, with this day being 2k, I'm almost positive I can knock this out tomorrow because, fun fact, the ending of a chapter is ALWAYS the easiest part to write.
The hell with it, here's a tangent, have the difficulty of writing any part of a chapter, from hardest to easiest:
1- Mid challenge 2- Start of the challenge 3- End of the challenge 4- Truly Asked or Dared 5- Night-time Cake at Stake 6- Day-time Cake at Stake 7- Extra scene 8- Cold open
This rank remains pretty consistent throught the most recent chapters I've written, for whatever reason, and the challenge is leagues harder than everything else btw, I don't know why, it just... be like that, you know?
And it's always a delight to write a cold open, I've always written them whole before the previous chapter's voting ends and sometimes even before the previous chapter goes live, without failure, it really makes me wonder if I'm more fit to make a slice of life fic instead, but fuck it, i'm balls deep into this fic and I have a story to tell, so, screw that, i HAVE to finish this
