(06.28.22) Quest to Rewrite #4 [7/18 done]

As you may or may not now, I am in a quest to rewrite/revise the entire series. Yesterday I finished revising chapter 7 late in the night, only now have I freed up the time to work on the next one.

Even though I'm a bit less than halfway done I truly believe the hardest part lies behind me, From chapter 7 to 8 there's a 1 year gap in which I changed a lot both as a person and as a writer, at this point I don't think I will change anything fundamental about 8-18 besides typos

I gotta confess; I was revisiting the chapters purely for the comments people left and I ended up reading huge portions of those post-2020 chapters, all of them (even the weak ones) are... just, how did I manage to write that well so consistently? Did I write that? I find it hard to believe, Will I live up to my expectations when I eventually finish my rewriting quest and get to Chapter 19?

Worries aside, I gotta complain juuust a bit about past me (chapters 1-7) especially in the first four chapters I used to do stuff oh so fast, like... dawg, this book is going to drag on for a lot of time, why did so much stuff take only like two episodes to be basically resolved? And also wayy too much focus on romance than what it warrants in a show like this, must've been the puberty...

In general the story starts out rough at the start but hey I can't blame myself too much, I was 14 I pretty much never wrote... anything up to that point (Well, besides "Where's Icy?" but... that was barely anything and was quickly canned once I realized I had no idea of where I wanted that story to go) and I ESPECIALLY didn't write much in ENGLISH in the first place, so I gotta pat myself in the back; I did... erm, decent.

Anyways, it's off to writing again, If you haven't re-read ADFB yet, I recommend it so you can remember everything (Trust me, I forgot some stuff myself) and if you don't, don't worry, I didn't really change most of the plot lines I have going (Mostly because I CAN'T, but okay...) biggest changes were just deleting stuff that didn't go anywhere and/or is out of place, you probably forgot about it anyways!!
