(09.22.24) Reviewing every ADFB contestant

Hey guys!

I was bored, so I made a tier list of ADFB contestants and reviewed each one briefly

I'll also reason my pick for each character a bit and say if I like them more in ADFB or BFDI (Spoilers up to ADFB 29 so be warned)

Okay, here goes the reviews, with the rank I gave it next to the character's name. The tier list image is at the very end

8-Ball [B]
So this is a character that I gave the most attention during the time the book actually began to get good (Around 12 or so), I basically took what jacknjellify tried to do with him and tried to improve upon it, and y'know what? I think I achieved just that! Because in the real show, 8-Ball is just so nonsensical

I feel like he could've done better if he wasn't eliminated when he did, but at least his arc kinda went full circle, and it was decently fun, so he gets a pass from me

ADFB 1-0 BFDI

Balloony [A+]
Man I was really sad to eliminate Balloony but he was running out of connections near the end of his run, I tried establishing something with Liy in ADFB 27 but I couldn't go through with it

Anyways, so underrated imo, he's so funny in BFDI and ADFB, I love him in ADFB 14b, I love his... bromance? romance? brobro? with Cloudy? Not sure myself, but I loved writing Balloony, he has such a distinct vibe as a character and I'll miss him

I think he's slightly better in ADFB than in BFDI just because he's a bit more relevant but it's pretty close, BFB 13-14 Balloony is awesome as well

ADFB 2-0 BFDI

Barf Bag [S]
I love pre-split Barf Bag and I'm sad TPOT had no idea what to do with her, she's so chill, she's definitely a character I'd enjoy sharing some beers with

ADFB definitely did better than BFDI with her, I mean, can you top a freaking sword fight in the heights with your biggest rival? I think not!

Her character is very well rounded in ADFB and I'm very proud of that, she's one of the few characters that was good from the very start (even when this book was absolutely dogshit). I felt like she was kind of "done" by ADFB 29 though, so I eliminated her to give space to others, you shall be missed!

ADFB 3-0 BFDI

Basketball [A+]
Yet another great character, I'm definitely giving her a lot to do in ADFB, with the Four Files and the conflict with The Funny Pals, Blocky & Match, etc... she's always had something to do, and I think I managed to achieve her as a character pretty well overall

Despite that, I feel like TPOT has manage to outdo me on this one, she's excellent in that show, but whatever!

ADFB 3-1 BFDI

Bell [C+]
I'll be real I kinda forget what she's done in the fic besides fight Taco, which I guess was pretty cool, but that was a pretty old chapter and I don't like old ADFB anymore...

And I eliminated her via contestant vote before doing anything else with her, I don't like Bell in BFDI either a whole lot too so I'm guessing I just didn't know what to do with her, TPOT did, though!

ADFB 3-2 BFDI

Black Hole [C+]
He's not higher because I don't like Black Hole, but rather because I feel like I kinda messed him up in ADFB on chapter 6, and now that TPOT 10 is out I can definitely say I got sweeped in this one

He didn't do a whole lot either, so... whoops

ADFB 3-3 BFDI

Blocky [B+]
I think I made his character a bit more serious than warranted, but eh, it works well enough. I think he was better earlier on in the fic but lately I've been struggling (he's still good tho).
