When I woke up I was still in her arms which made me smile I looked at my phone and saw it was about 6:30. I didn't want to get up but I knew I would have to eventually. So I rolled away from her and sat on the edge of the bed
"What time is it?" She asked when she woke up
"About 6:30. What time do you have to leave?"I asked in disappointment
"I cleared my schedule to spend the day with you." She smiled
"Really? Well what would you like to do?"
"We could just lay here and talk for a minute."
"What do you wanna talk about? " I asked as I snuggled next to her
"You. Tell me about yourself"
"I'm not very interesting."
"You are interesting, that's why I'm here, that's why I came up to you at the club. There's something about you Madison you just might not see it yet."
"No I'm really not, I'm just here to make other people look better."
"You don't really think of yourself that way do you?" She asked
"Yeah, I was a wild child but never the girl anyone wanted to talk to, I was never considered cool, I was just taking up space. The only friends I've had my whole life are Aliyah and Sasha."
"Madison you are the most beautiful girl I've laid eyes on, in the brief time I've known you, I've felt happier than ever so to hear you say that your a nobody breaks my heart. You're not a nobody you're the most amazing person I've ever met and if all kids that ignored you in school didn't see that then they're not worth your tears."
"That's the sweetest thing anybody has said to me."
"Well I'm sorry it took so long for you to hear the truth. "
I couldn't help but cry. She was so nice to me. It seemed like she was nicer to me than I was to myself.
"It's okay Madison I'm here." She whispered in my ear as she hugged me tighter
At was at this very moment that everything felt okay. Like I had no worries at all like everything just went away and it was just me and her. It made me feel safe. I must have fell asleep because when I opened my eyes Ruby was gone. I looked at my phone and saw it was a little after 10 and thought she must have had to leave. I rolled outta bed and walked into the kitchen where I saw her talking to Aliyah and Sasha to my surprise.
"Well hello sleeping beauty." Sasha teased
"Haha very funny. What are you all talking about?"
"I was just telling them how you're coming with me to New York and they didn't believe me" Ruby answered
"Yeah, we were telling her how we had to damn near drag you to the club." Aliyah added
"Well sadly it's time for me to get going I didn't want to leave while you were sleeping tho." Ruby announced after checking the time
"Okay, well I'll see you Tuesday."
"I'll have my driver pick you up tomorrow night about 8 and bring you to my house it's easier to leave from there."
"I'm gonna spend the night at your house?"
"Yeah, you know so the paparazzi want know where you stay. Which reminds me they're going to be all over the airport prepare to have a lot of cameras in your face."
"Umm paparazzi? Like TMZ and stuff?" I asked nervously
"Yeah, don't worry if you don't want anybody to know it's you put on shades and a hat."
"Okay."
"Okay I have a question. I'm not trying to put pressure on you two or anything but you know the first thing everyone is going to think is that there is something going on between you two. So what are you gonna say to that?" Aliyah asked Ruby
"That she's mine but were taking it slow" she smiled
" I like that " I smiled
"Well you two are just so cute." Sasha teased
"Shut up and let them have their moment" Aliyah added
I shot Aliyah and Sasha an evil eye and walked Ruby to the door.
"I enjoyed spending time with you today." I smiled as I opened the door
"It was fun. My driver just pulled up I should get going. See you tomorrow Madison. Don't forget what I said." She kissed my forehead and ran to the car.
As I turned to walk back in the apartment I saw Aliyah and Sasha just staring at me smiling. I didn't say anything I just sat on the couch and let them sit on both sides of me trapping me in but not saying anything just staring
"Soooooooo. How you feeling?" Sasha asked breaking the awkward silence
"I'm fine."
"Just fine? Ruby Rose was just laying in bed with you, asked you to go to New York with her, made you her girlfriend for the most part, asked you to spend the night at her house tomorrow and your just fine?" She questioned
"Yep." I lied
"You know your a terrible liar right? You do this twitching thing with your eye whenever your lying and you just did it." She pointed out
"Fine, I'm really excited and really nervous. I'm excited because I really like her but I'm nervous because I feel like she's gonna get to no the real me then leave like everybody else does." I confessed
"We didn't leave Maddie, we've been here since the beginning and we'll be here until the end. And from the conversation we had with her she's not going anywhere either, she really likes you. Don't let your insecurities get the best of you." Aliyah told me making me think maybe she was right
"Thanks Liyah and Sash. You're the best" I pulled them into a group hug
"Enough sapping, you need to start packing" Sasha reminded me
"You're right, you guys wanna help?"
"Duhhhh." They yelled in unison
"Well come on I don't know what to wear?"
Their faces light up and they raced to my room. I sat on the couch for a little longer think about how good my life was going. And what Ruby told me. For once I felt complete and it was all thanks to her. God, I really think I love this girl.
