The ride from the airport to the hotel wasn't long and when we got to the hotel it wasn't swarming with paparazzi so we were able to get out of the taxi and checked in without interruption.

The room was amazing. There were two queen sized beds, a decent size flat screen, a mini fridge, a great view from the window, a glass shower and the best part had to be that the bathtub had jets in it.

"So what do you want from room service?"

"Pepperoni pizza and a coke."

"That sounds really good, I think I'll get that too, I'll order the food while you find a movie."

"Okay. What type of movie are you in the mood for?"

"Surprise me." She winked

Dear God I swear she got sexier by the second

I looked through the movies but there was nothing I thought was good

"They said 30 minutes for the pizza. Did you find a good movie?" She asked sitting next to me on the edge of the bed

"Not really nothing sounds good and I'm convinced that the longer I look the worst the choices get."

"Sounds like quite a pickle."

"I did see this one movie I liked."

"Would you say it's a good movie?"

"I liked it."

"Well if you liked it I'm sure it's pretty good. Let's watch it."

"We can start it after I take a shower." I lightly kissed her

"Can I join?" She asked as I got my things for the shower

"Maybe next time." I teased as I closed the bathroom door

When I got out of the shower the food was setup for us to eat but I didn't see Ruby. A few minutes later she came back in the room with ice

"We needed ice."She announced as she walked back in the room

"I was worried you were kidnapped by some crazy fan." I joked

"Would you save me if I was?" She asked as she sat next to me on the bed

"I would definitely try but the minute they threaten my life I'm gonna stop." She looked disappointed

"I'm just kidding of course I would still try and save you." She smiled

"Enough about me being kidnapped, what movie did you pick?"

"Beyond the Lights"

"I don't think I heard of that one can I get a brief overview before we start?"

"It's about this singer named Noni who after years of her mom molding her into the celebrity she is reaches a point in her life where she's not happy and she tries to kill herself but Kaz, a police officer who was kinda like her bodyguard the night, saves her and they fall in love with each other. It's kinda like Romeo and Juliet without the death. I guess I could have just said it's the story of how two people from different walks of life fall in love."

"So it's kinda like our story."

"I guess it is similar but ours is better."

"Well sounds great let's start it."

I turned on Beyond the Lights and started eating my pizza. After I finished eating I laid back on the bed and tried to get more comfortable. Ruby kicked off her shoes and did the same. She wrapped her arms around me and I laid my head on her chest.

"So, just wondering how long has she been on the floor?" She whispered in my ear

"I asked the same thing when I first saw it." I whispered back

"Did the dog climbed on top of her?"She asked

"I don't know." I laughed

"Okay, I'm gonna stop talking so we can finish the movie. I'll save all my questions until the end." She smiled
"Okay it's not much longer."

About 30 minutes later the movie went off and Ruby had seemed to have forgot her questions.

"What happened to all your questions?" I teased

"I forgot them." She smiled

"So I guess you liked the movie then? "

"It was really good their love story is almost as good as ours."

"When I first saw the movie I said nothing like that happens in real life, in real life celebrities don't talk to non celebrities. Then I met you and I meet you so I guess I was wrong."

"Yeah we're people too, we like people social status doesn't really matter if you meet someone you like." She lightly kissed me then smiled

"I feel so lucky to have you."

"I feel even luckier."

She kissed me lightly and laid me down on the bed. She climbed on top of me and started kissing my neck. It felt amazing but it didn't feel right at the same time. It's like I wasn't mental ready.

"What time do you have to leave?" I asked making her stop her trail of kisses

"Well I don't have to leave for another hour and a half. What would you like to do in that time" She smiled

"We could always talk." I suggested

"I like the sound of that. I would love to know more about you."

"Well I mean there's not much to know."

"I'm doubt that. What's your story?"

"I'm don't have one."

"Everyone has a story."

"Nope, no story here there's nothing extraordinary about me."

"But there is, everyone's extraordinary in their on way. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there."

"There's really nothing here."

"Yes there is, it's my goal to help you see that. So, go ahead with that story."

"If you think so."

"I know so. Tell about your life before Cali."

"It's not something I like to talk about."

She didn't say anything back she just looked at me.

*deep sigh*

"Well before LA, I was in Atlanta and it's not the best of memories, I've come a long way since then"

"What do you mean?"

"I wasn't always this girl sitting next to you."

"Well who were you?"

"I was a mess."

"I'm sure you weren't that bad."

"Yeah, I was that bad. I was a huge party girl , i was constantly fighting, then there was the heavy drink and the often random hook-ups and the other thing but I'm changed now. Now I'm focusing on school and making a better future for myself and doing my best everyday to fix what I messed up."

"What exactly did you mess up?"

"I feel like I made a terrible mistake and I just wanna fix it." I started crying

"Why are you crying?"

"Because I feel bad."

"Why do you feel bad?"

"Because while you're a major reason I'm here, you're not the only reason I came to New York."

"What's the other reason?"

"I came to see my daughter."
