“Get up, Bella—” soft light fell on my face, and I was forced to open my eyes.
Jenna opened the closed blinds and the rays of sunlight came into the room adequately. I snuggled my face into the pillow because I was feeling lazy.
“Did you not get enough sleep last night?” Jenna asked me, she sat on the bed and caressed my naked back softly.
“No. Why did you come to wake me up so early today?” I looked back at her.
“Have you forgotten that you have to go to the office today? You have a meeting—” she said softly and removed the small strands of hair from my face.
“Oh— Yeah.” I turned on my back and sat straight, pulling my silk sheet up to my naked chest.
Jenna pulled her thighs closer to her chest and rested her head on her knees. “What you did yesterday wasn’t right, Amelia—” Jenna uttered in a low voice, there was a nuisance in her voice and the way she was looking at me, she looked sad.
I came into the room after slapping Jenny. I looked at people only once and everyone was shocked, but he was not shocked, he was looking at me as if he wanted to kill me. His sight gave me goosebumps all over my body. I felt like running away and hiding somewhere, that’s why I immediately went upstairs to my room.
“Was there a scene downstairs after I left?” I asked and brought the silk seat closer to my body. I was suddenly feeling cold.
“Do you think Jimin will keep quiet after you slap Jenny in front of everyone? He told the godfather that he and his wife would not attend any Kim family gatherings from now on. And everyone was whispering about you and talking about giving you punishment. I knew that the godfather always supported me, but I was happy to hear that he supported me despite everything that happened last night.
“He— I mean, what did your chief say?” I asked in a low voice.
“Do you think he’ll say anything?” Jenna questioned back.
“He didn’t say anything?” I asked, and Jenna tilted her head side to side in denial. “He didn’t even react?”
“No, Bella—” she said nonchalantly. She stood up from the bed and picked up my belongings which I removed at last light and threw them all here and there. “But yeah, he behaves strangely. He was here in his home office the whole night. And In the morning, also without eating anything, ignoring everyone the way he left, he kind of looked angry.”
“Oh—” I mumbled.
“I already ordered the head chef to make pancakes and a banana milkshake for your breakfast. And yes, I have already prepared an outfit for your office, so get ready quickly. After having breakfast together, I will drop you off at the office, okay?”
