Okayyyy😑🙄Vardaan Pov-
I was at the office when suddenly I received a message — a threat message.
I clenched my fist, feeling the anger rise within me. I was furious. The threat felt personal, and my mind raced, thinking about how things had escalated.
I immediately messaged her, telling her to leave the mall with Amrit. I had to verify who was behind this before anything else.
Up until now, it had been nothing more than strange messages, but this time, it felt different. A little part of me was scared, especially for Aarohi.
I quickly left for the mall.
Amrit told me they were at the parking, waiting for me.
Aarohi POV:
As I was heading towards my car with Amrit, he had already told me that Vardaan had sent him to keep me safe. "Please ma'am, come with me," he said.
I asked his name, and he replied, "Amrit." I was relieved to know who he was and now, feeling a little more secure, I walked with him towards the parking.
But just as I was about to sit in my car, something unexpected happened. Amrit suddenly shouted, and when I looked at him, I saw blood pouring from his arm. I froze in terror.
I was scared, completely unsure of what was going on, when I heard another sound.
It seemed familiar, and then I saw Vardaan — he shouted urgently, "Aarohi, get in the car right now!!"
Confusion gripped me. I didn't understand what was happening. I stood behind a pillar, my heart racing.
Suddenly, gunshots rang out.
